Art is art. Every artist does it differently. Every artist has different lyrics that move people in different ways. If it comes down to trying to calculate who creates the most complex multi-syllable rhymes, puns, similes, or metaphors then you aren't listening to the artists.

One MC could win one round, then their opponent strike back and devour them the next round. Song lyrics, however, are not competition. Everybody has different tastes in the type of lyrics/beats they like to listen to. I, as a aspired MC, prefer to listen to a little bit of every genre to gain influence.
