  • If the SEC is so concerned and on top of the bad buys, why did they miss Madoff?

  • While the SEC claims to be responsive to complaints of fraud, this is really not true. The fact is that the SEC protects the largest criminals, while policing the small guys in order to give the impression that it is doing its job. In reality, the SEC has become a complete joke and an accomplice in fraud committed by Wall Street.

  • They periodically will get a small fish for insider trading but the most damaging problem is High Frequency Trading. Average American investors are getting raped and pillaged by the Goldman's and Hedge funds of the world that operate these on a daily basis extracting constant profit from their steamroller strategies. Millions in contributions from the Exchanges to CONgress will never level the playing field.

  • What a crock of BS the SEC and CFTC. High frequency trading is what needs to be policed and scaled down. Billions in profits from the Exchanges that rely on transactions and paying off the CONgress to look the other way is what goes on here. You are worthless.

  • The SEC and CFTC know the meltdown by the largest hedge funds and the Goldmans of the world and their High Freq. strategies. The truth is that the Exchanges which make money off transactions have already payed off the Senators and Congress to look the other way when it comes to this kind of trading as there are billions in profit and political donations at stake.

  • $100,000 a year just to watch porn all day. that's what I do now without the pay! I bet I'd be great at that job :)

  • Don't they just watch & download pornography in the SEC?

  • What a crock...Have you ever tried applying for one of these SEC positions? The barriers to getting an application in are incredible and then there are no responses and then withouth further word, a note that the position is closed. They don't want talent, they want cronies.

  • You are so right!! How about the CFTC?

  • nice ad.
