  • BULLDOG x SHITZU BULLS**T

  • the Baltic looks like a golden child.

  • How do you avoid the two species eating/fighting eachother instead of mating? (Other than to use specimens of equal size)

  • @hellspawnds Watch them carefully. Don't let them alone for a long time.

  • What species can/can't be bred together? For instance could a corn snake breed with a small carpet python, or what are the genetic limitations when it comes to snakes?

  • @hellspawnds Hmm.. it seems you're quite interested in Hybrids. Check out this cool website. -->(HybridHerps)<-- It's all about different Hybrids in Reptiles and such. Browse around expecially on the Forums section. This should cover most of your Questions.

  • Do you guys sell the super ball pythons? If so how much for one?

  • My family is from boston. Ive been there a billion times.

I've never seen a Boston t shirt before. Weird.

  • i wanna c a full growwn burmball

  • @dragonpullman23 Recently I saw chihuahua cross mastiff puppies >.<

  • interesting but i had to stop watching becoz of dr retard.

  • One hybrid animal I'd like to see is a St. Bernard-Chihuahua mix.

  • im gonna try to breed my own wall pythons. they are just way too expensive

  • Chewy - Friggin' hilarious! - Haha!

  • lizards

  • haha shit zu + bulldog = bullshit :D lol

  • Jajaja. This was funny

  • Can you breed a green anaconda with a Burmese python?

  • @airless818 no. Pythons only hybridize with pythons. However a Green Tree Python X Burmese python should be possible.

  • Pussy is the best hybrid out thier

  • How much do these hybrids cost?

  • @MrCipherz IT depends.

  • I say my favorite would b a liger, even though they aren't naturally bred. I still think they're awesome. I wonder if they'll cross a snake to bird and make a flying snake even though they really hate each other lol. Great show guys

  • i wanna see if i could cross hognose with rhino rat...

  • @crimses nope :)

  • @wan2shuffle well it still would be cool if i could.you gotta admit

  • will be there in Toronto.....hey what happend to Kel?

  • @muzicman123 They let him go. Im not sure why though :/

  • @muzicman123 What the heck did happen to Kel?

  • Snakes

  • would some one bite chewy on the face i'm pissed off

  • @SnakeBytesTV Do you guys have a Mystic Potion Ball Python?

  • @ACLOCKWORKORANGEHCKY almost every professional breeder has produced mystic potions by now, you should just just produce one yourseld youd save money

  • during chewy's part turn on the transcribe audio under the captions menu

    lol

  • I have to agree with you Kel, but if I had to breed anything I would breed a Boa to a Ball Python and I would get a Balboa. And then I cross it to a Rock Python and get Rocky Balboa!!!!!!!!

  • When r u coming to Toronto

  • Hey Brain i am thinking of breeding my pastel ball python to my coastal carpet python female. First off can a coastal carpet even breed to a ball python. I heard of balls being bred to irian jaya carpets but can it work with coastals. I am hoping to make pastel carpals next year.

  • @WTZReptiles Yes it can and has been done

  • Antielapídico: the only effective against the poison of the coral (gender Micrurus).

  • LOL i like seeing Brian act like a douche for once since he is always so passive it seems xD

  • dorkie dachsund and yorkie

  • Chewy reminds me of Jane Cobb from Firefly. To answer the question: I have always wanted to bread a specific type of dog, in the end it would be St. Bernard, Malamute, Shepherd, I would have to bread it a certain way and wind up with a Shepherd with the Malamute head but the size of a St. Bernard. I think it will wake me over ten years to actually do.

  • favorite hybrid, the napoleon dynamite liger

  • Favorite hybrid... Humans.

  • Have you ever seen Carpet (harrisoni) x Scrub (ammethystine)?

  • Hope to see you in Sep!! Cant wait for the show!!

  • hey brian im a huge fan and i have 2 snakes my self a ball pyhton and a red tailed boa. and is it posible to cross a ball python with a red tailed boa?

  • @soco141000 No. You can cross pythons with pythins and boas can only cross with some boas

  • @soco141000 that would be bad ass

  • But, has anyone ever crossed a venomous snake with a non venomous snake? What would the outcome be?

  • That 'Wall' was amazing! I would like to see a mix between an Eastern Diamond Back Rattlesnake, a Timber Rattler, a Copper Head, a Burmese Python, an Anaconda, a Retic, a King Cobra, and an African Rock Python. Now that would be a MONSTER SNAKE! Haha.

  • can you subcribe to me please

  • awesome show guys keep it up maybe you could come over to the uk to do something or other i don't know UK is

  • A mix of 2 subspecies of the same animal is called an intergrade, actually -- hybrids are mixes of different species.

I saw a pic of an eastern diamondback x timber rattler. Very trippy.

    LOL at Dr. Chewy.

  • @DaboiaRusselli A hybrid between subspecies is actually a intra-specific hybrid, A hybrid between species is an inter-specific Hybrid. And a hybrid between different genera is a inter-generic hybrid :P

  • My snake got a bump on his head. What do I do D;?

  • Hybridization is the equivalent of voiding a venomous snake. It is disrespectful to the organisms which we take under our care and remove their freedom. It is our responsibility as keepers of any animal to provide it with the best care and respect in return for it giving up its freedom. This is gene pool pollution for the pure sake of making money.

  • @bladecut11 Your comparison is completely wrong. Inbreeding is worse than hybridization. No harm is done to any gene pool as long as they are labeled as such. I agree, Give your animals he best life possible. We keeping snakes in captivity does not help preserve the gene pool either. Would any of the snakes you see in the reptile market be fit for repopulating the species? The answer is no. People who Hybridize colubrids responsibly do not effect the gene pool of pure snakes at all.

  • @ColubridCreationsTV --Purposely creating a hybrid for money or amusement, etc. is irresponsible treatment of animals as pure organisms of nature. Argue for your side and justify it however you like. I am a biologist and this is how it is viewed by scholars of the environment/nature.

  • @bladecut11 Are you trying to tell me you keep reptiles purely to conserve them? (Assuming you keep them)

I keep them reptiles because they are beautiful and different. I don't side with groups just because that's what everyone else is doing. Also hybrids occur in nature. Is nature polluting the gene pool? For example, In areas where the yellow rat snakes range overlap the corn snakes range, yellow rats have some corn genes in them and vise versa.

  • @ColubridCreationsTV I could list a large number of naturally occurring hybrids. Hybrids have also been used in research of the Tribe Lampropeltini. They have been used in other ways too.

  • @ColubridCreationsTV I keep reptiles almost exclusively for education. SOME hybridization does occur in nature. Captivity is NOT nature and should not be treated as such. Hybridization that is completely unacceptable to the integrity of the animal, is those that involve separate Genus, such as Morelia and Python, etc. Animals found on different continents "created" 99% of the time purely for profit. Often times these animals are sterile and would have no place in the wild. Conservation

  • @bladecut11 I am 100% sure that most reptile keepers are not biologists and 99% of the captive bred reptiles on the market will not effect the wild stock. How are inter-generic hybrids unacceptable ethically? I only speak for hybrids of the tribe Lampropeltini, but all of the hybrids are in fact sterile,Healthy. Hybridization has been used for 100's of not 1000 of years to produce superior captive animals. Some dog breeds have been shown they genes from other species. Its been used in agricultur

  • @ColubridCreationsTV Sorry for the mistakes, typing quickly

  • @ColubridCreationsTV There is only 1 species of dog. Many breeds yes, but they all evolved from and still are technically a wolf due to their ability to reproduce with a wolf and produce fertile offspring. There is no inter-genus breeding among dogs/wolves because they are all Genus Canus. Cross breeding a poodle and a German Sheppard is the same as crossing a elaphe/pantherophis guttata with another elaphe/pantheropis guttata--same animal according to the DNA, which is what I want to save.

  • @bladecut11

I know dog breeds are one species Im saying that a few dog breeds have been shown to have genes from other species. Domestic cats are know as a fact to be a hybrid. Corn Snakes don't need anyone to save them. There populations in both captivity and in the wild are stable. If I were to obtain a pair of rare snakes I would not hybridize them. I know some people will just not believe in the same thing. Its useless to argue as I see I cannot change your view nor you change mine.

  • @ColubridCreationsTV --snakes are not domesticated animals either and should not be referred to as pets

  • the super ball P looks awesome!

  • hi my favorite hybrid would be a poochie thats just what my family calls a poodle chiuaua mix there actually pretty cool and very energetic haha

  • hi my name is shane im fourteen and my favorite hybrid animal would be my baby burmball that i got last year. they have great size and they look amazeing. they truly are a mans snake.

  • @Bloodredcorn how big do they get :O?

  • Who wouldn't want a CatDog? I think that's just about the coolest pet out there. You could play CatDog fetch with them, teach them to use a CatDog litter box, feed them specially formulated CatDog food and take them on CatDog walks. A downside to that is you would have to put them on CatDog leashes and those things can get expensive. I'm actually working on breeding a new breed called a DogCat.

Love the show Brian, but I couldn't understand anything Chewy said!

  • U should show the black mamba

  • If a spider ball bred a blood python wOuld you get spider super balls?

  • @RooWallaby super balls are (ball X blood) X ball

a Blood to a ball is a Bloodball. I dont know much about python morphs but if its dominant I think the spider gene would show up.

  • @RooWallaby I was wrong Blood X Ball is a super Ball sorry about that. Boids are not really my strong point

  • Ligers are pretty much my favourite animal, bred for their skills in magic.

  • manson family bandogs are my favorite hybrid animals . pit bull x presa canario x american bulldog

  • i love hybrids and the carpondro is my favorite

  • not a fan of these hybrids. The cornsnake cremecical i think is fine its when you breed the carpet with ball python and charge a grand for it. I am far from a ball python fan.. The face i dont like . I dont want to see a ball python face on my carpets.

  • Sorry to be a pedantic douche, but the Emory's Ratsnake has now been classified as an entirely different species from the corn snake, and is now Pantherophis emoryi. Keep up the great work, massive Snakebytes fan :D

  • Python with a Australia tiger now that would be a fun snake to play with ? Ha

  • You gotta love the liger, a male lion X a female tiger, these things gets huge!

  • @Dwergideon Except for all the health issues those guys run into

  • do u have to hibernate your ball python every year if u want to breed it

  • @savannahmonnitor99 you don't HAVE to but hibernating it lets it kno that when it wakes up its breeding time! & it makes it really rowdy. It also SEEMS (not proven) to improve fertility.

  • Sorry to correct you but breeding two different subspecies is not called a hybrid but rather a intergrade.

  • Most of what chewy said 3:40 - 4:07 was false. Visit my website on my channel and click "Hybrid Info" for good information :) Its pretty rough right now so excuse grammar and such, It will be improved later on with more info, links etc.

  • i think batters are amazing, if you can put up the effort and try to make things as promising and safe for the snakes go for it. lable offspring for what they are and enjoy the animal

  • @thewr0ngIdea we r talkin bout snakes not cars! Ur username is correct u have the wrong idea.

  • @thewrongidea just like ur username u have the wring idea. We r talkin bout snakes not cars????

  • Hey im looking to get a snake what kind of snake should i get.

  • @98teddyboy a Corn Snake is probably the best beginner snake out there

  • Kind of exciting. I've never really seen much about these except for I think a woma hybrid NERD was working on. But those super pythons looked pretty cool. I cant wait until morphs work their way into that line.

  • So, was Chewy found by Brian in the jungle being raised by snakes? It would answer a few questions about him.

  • A Chinese Frilled Dragon Frilled Dragon x Chinese Water Dragon!!!

  • Hey do u need a permit 2 buy a snake ?

  • sorry brian but i really dont think its right breeding different species such as a corn to a king theres too many genetic differences and its like opening pandoras box i mean u wouldnt get someone breeding a king cobra too a retic ?? i can just see things getting very mixed up and causings some horrible genetic defects for the future

  • @mikeyb010180 there genetics are quite close but not the same its like in humans interecial intercourse if you acually go deep in it, its not such a bad thing you just have to be carefull with kings as they are cannibals at times

  • @mikeyb010180 also on the otherhand i do not agree with mixing snakes like pythons with columbrids beause there way to different

  • @TheKidCannibal I'm pretty sure that's not even possible, breeding garter snakes with balls, etc... but I heard there was this very small python species(forgot how to spell it) that has been bred to a corn... hmm

  • @jxz107 are you talking about the axminster corn? It was actually a Florida King snake X Corn snake.

Cornsnakes can hybridize with anything in the genus: Pantherophis, Pituophis, or Lampropeltis

  • @ColubridCreationsTV No, it was some member of the genus antarasia, I think it was called an antill python? Crossed with a corn... but to be honest, I don't think it's possible to cross colubrids with boids... probably just a myth. : )

Yeah... I actually heard they're making a new tribe called "Lampropeltini", which includes Pantherophis, Pituophis, and Lampropeltis. Since they can interbreed with fertile offspring, I think the tribe is a pretty ok idea.

  • @jxz107 Funny, I was just looking up the tribe lampropeltini before I saw this comment. It makes me wonder if other members of lampropeltini such as glossy snake, long-nose snake, etc. could hybridize with Pituophis, pantherophis, or lampropeltis. If ever get my hands on one of them Ill be sure to try them to a bull or a corn. I will be making Turbo Corns(Bullsnake X cornsnake) soon

  • my favorite hybrid is a Prius, especially now that they can stop. but my favorite hybrid animal is a werewolf

  • nietaki = snobby

  • Best snakebytes EVER! love the chewy...

  • A hybrid that I like is a jackalope. Half jack rabbit half antelope . Saw it on a episode of scoody doo. Lol

  • great vid.. i forone have been flirting with the idea of putting my male smooth front dwarf caimen with my female american alligator in hope of creating a animal with the more docile deminor of the american with the manageble size of the caimen.

  • Comment removed

  • @Reptilefreak333 You breed an adult ball with a small but sexually mature burm...around 5-6 feet. I think.

  • Hi i was thinking of getting a boa or a python, but i dont want those huge snakes or the smallest. It would be good if it maxed out something like 3-4meters long. Can you guys help me out?

  • snakebites u should show more of your monitor lizards !!!!!

  • i would like to see a crocodile and a gorilla hybrid. that would be both impressive and scary as hell

  • I like unusual hybrids. Everyone's seen mules and ligers and wolfdogs. But has anyone ever heard of a leopon? How about a jaglion? Or a zorse? I think those 3 gotta be my favorites. Nothing like seeing a leopard with a mane.

  • i work at a farm in louisiana and we have 2 zorse. ours are crossed between a quarter horse and zebra. beautiful animal but only draw back is that like a mule a zorse is sterile. @SpartaDog13

  • I love Pit/Boxer mixers or Bullmastiff/Pittbull mixes, big dogs with big hearts <3

  • @XxVeiinxX where do i find pics?

  • @devorivera Google? I've worked with Bull/Pitt mixes and Pitt/Boxers they are gentle loving dogs, very strong and willing to please. I've had them around kids, dogs, and other animals like cats and rabbits and never had an issue with any of them.
