I have to agree with you Kel, but if I had to breed anything I would breed a Boa to a Ball Python and I would get a Balboa. And then I cross it to a Rock Python and get Rocky Balboa!!!!!!!!

To answer the question: I have always wanted to bread a specific type of dog, in the end it would be St. Bernard, Malamute, Shepherd, I would have to bread it a certain way and wind up with a Shepherd with the Malamute head but the size of a St. Bernard. Hybridization is the equivalent of voiding a venomous snake. It is disrespectful to the organisms which we take under our care and remove their freedom. It is our responsibility as keepers of any animal to provide it with the best care and respect in return for it giving up its freedom. This is gene pool pollution for the pure sake of making money.

Many breeds yes, but they all evolved from and still are technically a wolf due to their ability to reproduce with a wolf and produce fertile offspring. There is no inter-genus breeding among dogs/wolves because they are all Genus Canus. Cross breeding a poodle and a German Sheppard is the same as crossing a elaphe/pantherophis guttata with another elaphe/pantheropis guttata--same animal according to the DNA, which is what I want to save.

Who wouldn't want a CatDog? I think that's just about the coolest pet out there. You could play CatDog fetch with them, teach them to use a CatDog litter box, feed them specially formulated CatDog food and take them on CatDog walks. A downside to that is you would have to put them on CatDog leashes and those things can get expensive. I'm actually working on breeding a new breed called a DogCat.

not a fan of these hybrids. The cornsnake cremecical i think is fine its when you breed the carpet with ball python and charge a grand for it. I am far from a ball python fan.. The face i dont like . I dont want to see a ball python face on my carpets.

@savannahmonnitor99 you don't HAVE to but hibernating it lets it kno that when it wakes up its breeding time! & it makes it really rowdy. It also SEEMS (not proven) to improve fertility.

Yeah... I actually heard they're making a new tribe called "Lampropeltini", which includes Pantherophis, Pituophis, and Lampropeltis. Since they can interbreed with fertile offspring, I think the tribe is a pretty ok idea.
@jxz107 Funny, I was just looking up the tribe lampropeltini before I saw this comment. It makes me wonder if other members of lampropeltini such as glossy snake, long-nose snake, etc. could hybridize with Pituophis, pantherophis, or lampropeltis. i work at a farm in louisiana and we have 2 zorse. ours are crossed between a quarter horse and zebra. beautiful animal but only draw back is that like a mule a zorse is sterile. @SpartaDog13
@devorivera Google? I've worked with Bull/Pitt mixes and Pitt/Boxers they are gentle loving dogs, very strong and willing to please. I've had them around kids, dogs, and other animals like cats and rabbits and never had an issue with any of them.
i think a cowXhorse is awsome my grandfather had one until he passed away R.I.P and it was huge it had a color of a cow one of those cows u milk and a body and a head of a horse he said he didnt mean for them to breed he had them together out in the field and the cow gave birth and he was amazed he never thought he could do that but the cow/horse died a year later my grandpa never told me why cause i was to young but it was awsome it was very nice and i actually rid it when i was 3 years old!!!!

my favorite hybrid is the savanna. its a mix between the domestic housecat and a serval (an african wild cat) they grow to be the size of a medium dog. they cost like $7000 and they look so cool i plan on hetting one later on.

A mix of 2 subspecies of the same animal is called an intergrade, actually -- hybrids are mixes of different species.

sorry brian but i really dont think its right breeding different species such as a corn to a king theres too many genetic differences and its like opening pandoras box i mean u wouldnt get someone breeding a king cobra too a retic ?? i can just see things getting very mixed up and causings some horrible genetic defects for the future

@mikeyb010180 there genetics are quite close but not the same its like in humans interecial intercourse if you acually go deep in it, its not such a bad thing you just have to be carefull with kings as they are cannibals at times

@TheKidCannibal I'm pretty sure that's not even possible, breeding garter snakes with balls, etc... but I heard there was this very small python species(forgot how to spell it) that has been bred to a corn... hmm

@jxz107 are you talking about the axminster corn? It was actually a Florida King snake X Corn snake.
Cornsnakes can hybridize with anything in the genus: Pantherophis, Pituophis, or Lampropeltis

@ColubridCreationsTV No, it was some member of the genus antarasia, I think it was called an antill python? Crossed with a corn... but to be honest, I don't think it's possible to cross colubrids with boids... probably just a myth. : )
Yeah... I actually heard they're making a new tribe called "Lampropeltini", which includes Pantherophis, Pituophis, and Lampropeltis. Since they can interbreed with fertile offspring, I think the tribe is a pretty ok idea.

@jxz107 Funny, I was just looking up the tribe lampropeltini before I saw this comment. It makes me wonder if other members of lampropeltini such as glossy snake, long-nose snake, etc. could hybridize with Pituophis, pantherophis, or lampropeltis. If ever get my hands on one of them Ill be sure to try them to a bull or a corn. I will be making Turbo Corns(Bullsnake X cornsnake) soon

I like unusual hybrids. Everyone's seen mules and ligers and wolfdogs. But has anyone ever heard of a leopon? How about a jaglion? Or a zorse? I think those 3 gotta be my favorites. Nothing like seeing a leopard with a mane.

i work at a farm in louisiana and we have 2 zorse. ours are crossed between a quarter horse and zebra. beautiful animal but only draw back is that like a mule a zorse is sterile. @SpartaDog13

@devorivera Google? I've worked with Bull/Pitt mixes and Pitt/Boxers they are gentle loving dogs, very strong and willing to please. I've had them around kids, dogs, and other animals like cats and rabbits and never had an issue with any of them.

i think a cowXhorse is awsome my grandfather had one until he passed away R.I.P and it was huge it had a color of a cow one of those cows u milk and a body and a head of a horse he said he didnt mean for them to breed he had them together out in the field and the cow gave birth and he was amazed he never thought he could do that but the cow/horse died a year later my grandpa never told me why cause i was to young but it was awsome it was very nice and i actually rid it when i was 3 years old!!!!

My favorite hybrid would be a hybrid of Jeremy's mustache with Chewy's beard. I think that would make for some rockin' facial hair! I'm pretty sure it could be considered an animal as well. LOL ;)

my favorite hybrid is the savanna. its a mix between the domestic housecat and a serval (an african wild cat) they grow to be the size of a medium dog. they cost like $7000 and they look so cool i plan on hetting one later on.
