Great clips, but they missed Eleanor Parker's best line which comes right before the clip at 2:15..."A middle-aged woman's rosary...one bead for every year...six with your name on them...."
"It's smoke, and it's in flames now; and the frame is crashing to the ground, not quite to the mooring mast. Oh, the humanity! And all the passengers screaming around here. I told you; it—I can't even talk to people, their friends are out there! Ah! It's... it... it's a... ah! I... I can't talk, ladies and gentlemen. Honest: it's just laying there, mass of smoking wreckage...."
@TheTalentedMrRipley1 I've never seen the whole movie--just some of these YouTube clips--but I _would_ like to read the book. I tend to like books better.
the script.............just dreadful! as high camp as they come! anytime hollywood did hollywood in the 60's spelled trouble! show business can be so darn cruel!
Great job with the clips. You give us a whole idea of what a hilariously bad movie this it. All that stars saying/screaming all that awful dialogue with straight faces and popping veins in their necks, adds to the enjoyment. And what the hell is doing Tony Bennet in here?
what am i, a genie? poof.

The woman behind Tony Bennett is not Doris Day.. she was not in the movie... it was an extra. The red head is Jill St John

Who is the blonde sitting behind Tony Bennet at 0:17? Is it Doris Day?
denberg2 1 year ago
@denberg2 No. Not Doris that's for sure. Don't know who it is.

One of the best unintentionally funny satires ever produced. Overacted, overwritten, and sadly overlooked.

Gotta be the dumbest twist ending in history. Hilarious. "And the winner is: Frank ... SINATRA!"

Might have worked as a film noir. Black and white, small budget.

this makes Valley of the Dolls look like Citizen Kane -- such beautiful trash, my eyes are hurting!

Worst movie? That is what you see when you document the reality of the progressive hollyweirdos.
99% useless ego-trips

Frankie Fane: the male Neely O'Hara. Stephen Boyd kind of looks like one of those cymbal banging monkey dolls when he's applauding at the end.
