I agree with tsaki, Darkness is his best album, but there are songs on other albums that I like better than some of the songs on Darkness, but Adam Raised a Cain will always remain one of my top 5.
My son, Kevin's, favorite Springsteen song- Kevin made the Dean's list at Rutgers for the Spring semester- 2-A's, 2 B+, and 1 -B. Congratulations- Mom and Dad love you very much!
epic song! I got lucky and found 1978 original LP, for a "reasonable " price. Dont ask why did I pay so much, since I could buy a "later" copy for 10euros! because I m a vinyl freak heheh!
but yeah, the boss is awesome and IMO darkness is his best album!
In everyplace its merely Adams; always dare to raise in-bloods dream with A Cain only to clutch anything and everything on earth....Its more to less to level it as awesome barely!!!
Think this is one of Bruce most private songs.Remember seeing him live 2008 and he played this song.I can now leave this earth not feeling jipped by the good lord:)
""Darkness" is still one of the few albums U never grow over."
In clear context, since that's the only thing some of U guys understand: "Darkness" is IMO one of the best records ever made. And one of the few records from back then I'm still picking up and plays today. If U listen to the new record, and hear what songs he left, he just grows, man. Reminds me of I got to keep my eyes on the price drop of the mega version of "Darkness"
Dude, you can't be serious? Darkness is fucking epic, all the tracks are so dark and haunting, they add this feel to the characters that aren't on other albums.
And as if you're complaining about him starting with Badlands. I couldn't think of something better to get the crowd pumped.
Sounds like U are one of those guys who prefer to eat the desert first. I don't. If I ever heard a perfect way to END a concert, it's "Badlands". For me it was completely wrong to start with it. AND: "Fucked up" was the wrong words to use. The concert is still a very good one, but it irritates me to know it could have been one of the classics. Like the one I saw with Patti Smith a few month earlier. Both assure me about it is a life after 50, witch I'm closing alarmingly in on...
I think the ideal spot for Badlands is at the end of the first set, where he was playing it on the Magic tour. Badlands is the kind of song you end a concert it with. I honestly think the way Bruce has his sets are down pat.
Badlands is no show closer though IMO. That belongs to a girl called Rosalita.
The song, not calling Bruce a Fucker!!!!!! Sorry if i offended!!!!!!

"Darkness" is the reason why I gave up Springsteen. I bought "The River" , but it was just a step against mammoth.
"Darkness" is still one of the few albums U never grow over. To see Bruce fuck the hell out of his guitar, and deliver like he did 32 years ago...
It was like he fucked up my concert in Norway by star with "Badlands". He did and I never recovered...

@JacKass00001 you're on drugs, darkness was arguably his best album. eat dicks.
