Great video. He and Brett Hobden would get along great. I try to help other coaches see the importance of receiving skills and understanding the incoming ball. Too often they go out there and become to much concerned with how the kids look when their hitting a ball. Hey is that a momosa Tommy? :)
@YarpBarp09 Thanks mate, yes, when you work on technique (like I obviously do) it has to be based around improving control or power or handling a certain shot etc, not just for the looks. I think coaches forget the point of good technique sometimes. That's when you get a player with a long sweeping one handed backhand that doesn't know how to play points because they can't adapt to different shots. Thanks for the comment!
This is great stuff, all coaches should watch this video. Most of the ones I see never do any of this and it makes so much sense.
