Dewd, how do I make it so someone not on my local network access my files? I have tried connecting from iPod and it works fine but I need to use 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.2.51 ~> I know my IP address and it never connects, nothing is there. Can you help me out?
Never Mind! Figured it out! If you are setting up a FTP Server on XAMPP, when you try to connect to the server, you HAVE to make it on port 14147 Other wise you never get anywhere.

You may be able to check on the XAMPP website, I use stand alone FTP server instead of XAMPP. ;)

If you are trying to access from a remote system you may have to forward your ports through the router. ;)
