My daughter has hlhs she is 7 months and just got her glen. I hope that your family is well. Such a long and hard road to walk but in the end nothing is more important than our children. My heart goes out to all the families with hlhs. We are curently at chla it's easter and we are having some complications with fluid building around her lungs but she is going to be ok! My son has HLHS. he's 13 now and he full if energy he dose ballroom dancing and he loves to ride his bike and play basketball. He's a blessing GOD is GOOD.

My daughter has HLHS. She is soon to turn 12. I am blessed enough to call the girl you spoke about at the end a friend. She is a awesome person who provide so much encouragement to our lives through good and bad times. My daughter is a blessing everyday, I know this is a severe condition but her being born has been such a blessing.

My Little Brother Tanner Has HLHS Hes saw a picture from this video and he said "thats me"

well when he was born the doctors gave my mom the options and she said Hell no to leting him die well now he is 7 years old and because of him  the hospital in SA texas does not offer letting them go :] i love my little brother sooo much!

i was born with HLHS and if it makes anyone feel any better ill be 21 in april and i have lived, for the most part, a normal life...i play hockey all the time, work out at the gym etc...im active almost just about as much as anyone of my friends so there is def. the chance of a positive outlook on the situation

My unborn son was kicking the whole time I was watching this video. He has been diagnosed with HLHS,and is due on 9/9/09. The scariest part would have been to walk in and see him hooked up to the moniters and everything,but thanks to you and your son,I can prepare myself for those images and just be strong. My prayers are with you and your beautiful son.

I hope that your son will live. If it makes you feel any better, I too was born with HLHS, and I lived, and now my 15th birth-day is coming ,and I feel fine.

And the doctors ALREADY know that your son has HLHS, so he has an even BETTER chance of living than I did.

My 5 1/2 month old son Benjamin has HLHS. He was scheduled for his 2nd surgery, but it had to be postponed because he had a fever. I suppose he will have it next month. He is doing very well so far. He does have a paralyzed left vocal cord and a watershed brain infarction, but he is developing normally and is such a happy boy. I have found such inspiration from other parents who have posted their stories about HLHS. Faith becomes so much stronger through these experiences. God bless you.
