Your interpertation of Revelations 22:18 is incorrect. Many people assume what you are saying but it is not true. Consider that Revelations was not the last book of the New Testament written but was placed at the end by those who compiled the volume. There are also similar warnings in Exodus. What John meant by that is no one was to add to the book of Revelations. It was NOT a proclaimation that there was to be no more revelation. It was John saying not to change what was in that one book

In Christianity the belief is that you cannot save yourself, "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." God's name, Yahweh, means "I am." Jesus said he was God in front of the Jews, and right after he said that they went ballistic and tried to kill him. That's about as clear as you can get when claiming to be God. But there's also John 10:30, "I and the Father are one."

Many people knew about Jesus, but not many knew he was Christ yet. Are you honestly taking a single verse out of the whole Bible as solid proof Jesus was not God? Sorry but the context just doesn't support that.
Furthermore as this video has made clear, Allah is not God of Abraham, he is a pagan moon god. Don't confuse the two.

There is no metaphors, John 8:58 is as clear as you can get. You are a fool if you think Jesus never claimed to be God, because that was the very reason the Jews and Pharisees hated him so much. Nobody denies that Jesus *claimed* to be God, but some deny the *truth* of that claim.

@wspitfire2011 No, it's not an error of translation, that's a straw man you have made up. Jesus clearly said I AM, the word he uses is Yahweh, God's name. He claimed to be God. The Jews asked if he saw Abraham, the context was he was way, way too young to have see Abraham. Jesus said not only did he see Abraham, but he was around before Abraham was even born. Immediately after saying that, the Jews got enraged and tried to kill him. Why? Because he was claiming to be God. The context is clear.

Your interpertation of Revelations 22:18 is incorrect. Many people assume what you are saying but it is not true. Consider that Revelations was not the last book of the New Testament written but was placed at the end by those who compiled the volume. There are also similar warnings in Exodus. What John meant by that is no one was to add to the book of Revelations. It was NOT a proclaimation that there was to be no more revelation. It was John saying not to change what was in that one book

@nejtilsvampe Let me clarify. In Islam those are not sins but acceptable behavior. In Islam you save yourself by enagaing in those behaviors. In Christianity the belief is that you cannot save yourself, "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Your are saved by accepting the atonement of Jesus, who gave himself as a propitiation for sin, and then seeking to live a life of service to others (as he taught). Catch the difference. Read don't bleet.
