  • i like the idea for mastermind group and i wish their was a way i can find one i would like some hints

  • your shirt is cool

  • I met with my weekly mastermind group today and one thing we all noticed was that in the 7 months we have been together we have come so far!. Coincidentally this past week we all took risks we normally wouldn't have that lead to successes!

  • Randy Gage-You Make me think on the postive side in my life about things an

you really explain and get the point across to people about things about life..

  • Randy Gage-I like your videos an i enjoy them.I been watching quite a few of them aready.

    Happy Holidays2011/12

  • @TheEhs1964 Thanks, Happy Holidays!

  • This is the best description I've heard yet!

  • Is this same as having a business partner or partner(s)? Is it a group outside of the people you do business with? Great video!

  • @mcsuccess08 It can be and often is business partners. But the really fascinating breakthroughs often come from people outside your business, or even your profession.

  • Hey Randy I want your thoughts on why people think the "money is the root of all evil". A guy today was saying that they had a discussion at work once and one guy was saying that tobacco and alcohol was the root of all evil. And then another guy said that no money and sex is the root of all evil that not all rich people drink and smoke. :-) my theory is the richer you become the more it magnifies what's truly in your heart ;-) lets have your thoughts on WHY people think like that. Thanks

  • @aaronyoder121 Many people think that because that's what they're programmed to believe by organized religion, government and pop culture. Scroll down and see some of my earlier shows on programming for more on this. -RG

  • Sounds like what Stephen R. Covery calls "synergy" to me, but I love the "mastermind" metaphor. Unfortunately, I think this is, and will be, difficult for some people because, as you point out, you have to be willing to be the stupidest person in the room for it to be effective, and it takes a generous dose of humility to acknowledge you are the stupidest person in a room! But, as has been said, "before honour is humility."

  • Great insights on putting together a mastermind. You also need to have someone to keep the group on track, on task, and focused. Most of the time, one of the members can take on the role of the "facilitator". For larger groups or for people with larger egos, you may want to bring in a professional facilitator to make sure each person walks away with value.

  • @QPCinc Yes good tips. Thanks, RG

  • Great video!! Although when I read the comment under the video about "creating my own matermind group" - I can't help but think of mater - the character from Cars!! :D

  • Hi Randy. I really like this video. I have wanted to be either in or form a group.

In the past I was either in groups or at church and it ended up being a 12 step or

bitch session which I don't want-not my speed. Nonetheless this video cleared my

mental block. Have a good day.

  • @chrisbacos Good! Don't let bad attempts cloud what you can do now. -RG

  • Well said, Randy! I do disagree on the larger size group though. In a group of more than 4 or 5, someone will not get to share unless you have a marathon meeting. It's more intimate in smaller groups and easier to keep the meetings going.

  • @kkay1963 Yes when I did with 10 or 11, we actually met for three days. -RG

  • I'm a firm believer in the mastermind group. I have several groups I am a part of, one for different areas of my life.

  • Love the comment about having a Kitchen Cabinet of folks that you can trust. I would take that one step further. Do those folks in your kitchen cabinet have refrigerator rights? Are you comfortable enough allowing them to go to your frig, open the door and peek inside. Metaphorically, are you allowing them access to some of inner thoughts, those shelves in the back of the frig and can they partake freely of them?

  • @Jefflhurt Love your take on this! -RG

  • Great stuff, Randy! I can easily trace back most of my successes over the last decade to the mastermind. They need to be people who will not only encourage you, but will also talk you out of doing stuff that won't help you achieve your goals.

  • always cool

  • Interesting idea orglearn... sounds like a great event!

  • @376marketa Yes I'm waiting for some fashion house to offer me a deal! :) -RG

  • Another great video Randy! I'm going to pick up the book Think and Grow Rich... can't believe it's not in my library already :) Thanks!

  • @ColeRuddick Oh yeah, that's a "must have" for anyone on the success path. -RG

  • You need a lavalier so we can hear you better

  • @uDaeth The camera I use doesn't allow for mic hooks ups, so I try to be careful of the locations I pick when we should outside. This one seemed to be decent audible-wise.
