Hamas insists on putting rockets and military armaments in schools, hospitals, etc. HAMAS and the Palestinian people bear direct responsibility for bringing Operation Cast Lead to Gaza. Stop the attacks, negotiate for peace, and start compromising. You're not getting the 1967 borders -- you had 20+ years to get them and you declined. That ship has sailed. Ditto reparations, the Right of Return, and other demands.

If Hamas isn't using human shields, then why were those neighborhoods still full of civilians when they had been warned repeatedly to leave?? We are aware of the situation in Gaza, Mr. Ellison. Hamas insists on putting rockets and military armaments in schools, hospitals, etc. HAMAS and the Palestinian people bear direct responsibility for bringing Operation Cast Lead to Gaza. Stop the attacks, negotiate for peace, and start compromising. You're not getting the 1967 borders -- you had 20+ years to get them and you declined. That ship has sailed. Ditto reparations, the Right of Return, and other demands.

If Hamas isn't using human shields, then why were those neighborhoods still full of civilians when they had been warned repeatedly to leave?? It's either that, or they chose to die to make themselves "martyrs" in a fight to destroy Israel, which I suppose is possible as well. But the fact that Israel is the only army in the world that gives civilians the opportunity to evacuate targeted areas before any anti-terror operations are taken is well documented and irrefutable.
