ie hook up all the positive leads on both woofers to the amp and same with the negatives... ( i am sure this is your problem ) -- but make sure your amp is 1 ohm stable first if not get a better amp

But I don't think thats the problem, I'm sure I connected them good cause they move the same and I get a 2 ohm load at the end (i have dual 2ohm versions) and my amp gives 1500 RMS rated at 2 ohm, its a soundstream tarantula so i'm pretty sure that it's a good amplifier :s anyway, thanks for the reply, when I sit in the back of my car, I can feel the bass a little in my stomach, but not much, in front nothing :s
@pcgamergod you seen my video does it flex the same???? mirror just dropping... I dont really know what to say (take it to someone!!) it could be your deck as well not enough volts in the rca's... they should pound really low and dirty...

@pcgamergod MAKE SURE YOU HOOKED THEM UP RIGHT the subs have 2 coils per woofer... each coil is mark either with a dot or no dot.. hook the subs in parallel together and bridged on the amp. feed em a ton of power an u should be happy. my windshield move man! find a dual voice coil wiring diagram I am sure thats your problem... if they are wired correcty u may need a bigger amp.
u r probably running some i pod docking station in ur car... I never clamed to have the best stereo its a review on these ones in paticular... I like them they sound good and thats all I need

@low72 Yeah its a sealed box. They do go really low in comparison 2 other 12 in woofers, but remember the larger the cone the lower the bass you are going to get, so if space is an issue for you and you still want really low bass get these woofer in a 15" and you will be very happy. If space is not an issue grab som 15" squares and port that baby... and if you are somewhere in between get 15"l7's seal the box and give it gobs of power
@shaochiavang subwoofers play a lower frequency of music. The larger the woofer an the design of the box will allow you to hit lower. Its the music you feel but not hear that is really low!

I like the solo classics because they save a ton of space... if you dont mind giving up alot of room get l5's or l7's and if you still want a ton of bass and keep some space get some classics.... or if you are in a tight budget and have lots of space get 4 comp's.... more surface are = more bass! good luck

i have heard polks, ones i heard were not very loud, but really its all about the install. i just never cared for some of their other stuff , like the coaxials and amps
i'm pretty certain the minimum size for Solo classic subs is the same as the old school ones. .88 ft3.
i have no preference for highs, currently i use Memphis. i sure wish i waited and got a HU like yours. I ended up with one of the new Pioneers and i hate it.
@1DavidSe polk is one of the best for highs, i have the db 6.5 components too, they are entry level but still great cus they are polks, so iono what 4537256 heard. and rf has great new amps haha. awesome setup dude.
@37042mike yeah polks are amazing... their just not marketed right or something... they are crystal clear to like any volume. the 6x9s have excelent bass and the tweets friging scream! oh yeah and wtf.... your gonna dis rockford... there is nothing better for well made amps, sure it is more expensive but you get a reliable amp

@dmullins6969 thats why the classics are nice! the subs only need 1.25cu ft ='s 2160 cubic inches.... the 15's anyway therefore your dimentions would be 16 x 16(to fit the sub) x 8.5 ish for one and 16 x 32 x 8.5 for 2.
the 12's only need .88 cuft ='s 1520 ci therefore 13 x 13 x 9 for one and 13 x 26 x 9 for 2
in comparison to l7's that would take a min vented 3 cubic ft box 3 times larger.
@dmullins6969 the same size sub in an l7 will hit a bit louder.... but its not about that...
pros of a l7 louder
cons extreamly large ported incloser is nessasary, will not last as long, more expensive to replase
pros of a solo classic deep rich bass (still super loud), small sealed enclosure, longer lifespan, less expensive to replace, less power nessasary to run

@boboridesbmx I wanted the box to be at kickers recomended minimum specification so that way the subs can potentially handel more power. and funny enough the spare is already gone i removed it when i had my l7's in the car and the box did just that. YEAH I DONT NEED A SPARE I HAVE A CELL PHONE!! LOL i keep the spare at home and if i need a hand i can just make a call.

@1DavidSe luckily only the bottom half of it separated from the car body. I had dark tint windows and could see out the back under the window and was like wtf. IM actually looking at a deal on craigslist for those two same subs you have @ $100 for 12" in a box and Im like call me asap i'll drive even @ midnight if you want

@cbucks2869 The 12's retail for 350 each. i got both on ebay for 400... i highly recomend ebay for any subs. dimensionaudio is the cheepest seller of these subs, although they do not have 12's right now. they are soo awsome though i would have paid 700. but they can get pricy... after installation i needed a new alternator, 2 yellow tops. obviously a box. and hopefully assuming u have enough power you wouldn't need a new amp.

@1DavidSe yeah 1.5 cubic ft, i have TWO boxes in a 03 mustang and wont fit in my trunk so i put them in my backseat lol and im running them with a ZX1500.1 kicker amp so it bumps real good just that no space in the backseat, Im gonna make a video one of these days but i need to borrow my sisters camera to record a good video of them.

they sounded great right from the get go. extreamly loud and low... they still sound great. if they are not hitting as hard as you would like them 2 you may need to rewire them. tell me how powerful your amp is? what resistance are your subs, and what load have you put on the amplifier?
Like I said they do sound better as the days go by, just wondering if the 1.34 load I'm getting from the amp with the dvc 2ohm set-up is kind of hindering the amp output.

I like rockford because i have never had a problem with any of there amplifiers. have you ever used polks? they are honestly not only loud as fuck but crystal clear... everyone has their thing i guess. whats your choice for highs? and oh the box is sealed to 1.76cuft kickers minimum box size for this sub... i have heard polks, ones i heard were not very loud, but really its all about the install. i just never cared for some of their other stuff , like the coaxials and amps
i'm pretty certain the minimum size for Solo classic subs is the same as the old school ones. .88 ft3.
i have no preference for highs, currently i use Memphis. i sure wish i waited and got a HU like yours. I ended up with one of the new Pioneers and i hate it.

@1DavidSe polk is one of the best for highs, i have the db 6.5 components too, they are entry level but still great cus they are polks, so iono what 4537256 heard. and rf has great new amps haha. awesome setup dude.

@37042mike yeah polks are amazing... their just not marketed right or something... they are crystal clear to like any volume. the 6x9s have excelent bass and the tweets friging scream! oh yeah and wtf.... your gonna dis rockford... there is nothing better for well made amps, sure it is more expensive but you get a reliable amp

very nice set up man, thanks for the input on the solo classics, i'm still doin some more research before i actually purchase anysubs cause i'm working with little trunk space, the car is a civic hatchback, id love to get 2 15s go in there but space for the box is an issue

@dmullins6969 thats why the classics are nice! the subs only need 1.25cu ft ='s 2160 cubic inches.... the 15's anyway therefore your dimentions would be 16 x 16(to fit the sub) x 8.5 ish for one and 16 x 32 x 8.5 for 2.
the 12's only need .88 cuft ='s 1520 ci therefore 13 x 13 x 9 for one and 13 x 26 x 9 for 2
in comparison to l7's that would take a min vented 3 cubic ft box 3 times larger.

pros of a l7 louder
cons extreamly large ported incloser is nessasary, will not last as long, more expensive to replase
pros of a solo classic deep rich bass (still super loud), small sealed enclosure, longer lifespan, less expensive to replace, less power nessasary to run

@boboridesbmx I wanted the box to be at kickers recomended minimum specification so that way the subs can potentially handel more power. and funny enough the spare is already gone i removed it when i had my l7's in the car and the box did just that. YEAH I DONT NEED A SPARE I HAVE A CELL PHONE!! LOL i keep the spare at home and if i need a hand i can just make a call.

@1DavidSe luckily only the bottom half of it separated from the car body. I had dark tint windows and could see out the back under the window and was like wtf. IM actually looking at a deal on craigslist for those two same subs you have @ $100 for 12" in a box and Im like call me asap i'll drive even @ midnight if you want

@cbucks2869 The 12's retail for 350 each. i got both on ebay for 400... i highly recomend ebay for any subs. dimensionaudio is the cheepest seller of these subs, although they do not have 12's right now. they are soo awsome though i would have paid 700. but they can get pricy... after installation i needed a new alternator, 2 yellow tops. obviously a box. and hopefully assuming u have enough power you wouldn't need a new amp.

@mariolincon yeah the classics only take .88cuft per sub (the 12's anyway). your subs in a sealed enclousure could go as low as 1.5 cubic ft about the size of what i have for 2 lol. gotta tell u though i used to have 2 15 L7's and these pump so much more i dont know why but i aint complaning. btw what amp are you running and WHERES THE VID?

@1DavidSe yeah 1.5 cubic ft, i have TWO boxes in a 03 mustang and wont fit in my trunk so i put them in my backseat lol and im running them with a ZX1500.1 kicker amp so it bumps real good just that no space in the backseat, Im gonna make a video one of these days but i need to borrow my sisters camera to record a good video of them.

they sounded great right from the get go. extreamly loud and low... they still sound great. if they are not hitting as hard as you would like them 2 you may need to rewire them. tell me how powerful your amp is? what resistance are your subs, and what load have you put on the amplifier?

Like I said they do sound better as the days go by, just wondering if the 1.34 load I'm getting from the amp with the dvc 2ohm set-up is kind of hindering the amp output.

i know the bd has 2 controls one for frequency and one for gain but there are single controls on ebay.... may be worth a shot... also u could borrow your buddies knob set it and then take it out see if it changed any.... lol. but what i am thinking is if you can get them both to work i would put them both in and put in some kicker l7's.... oh oh oh the bd u can use one amp as a slave use the old one as the slave and the new one as the master. anyway good luck
