  • actually never mind, no matter what the car is, im sure the owners love thier cars, as long as they love them, then i dont see a reason to criticize them. even though these cars are not ideal to me, im sure these owners love thier cars and i respect that. i mean i know how its like too put your blood and sweat into the car and then have some asshole say its a piece of crap/ its not right, and i appologize for talking crap, i am sure these cars mean alot to you guys. just like my car, i luv it :)

  • actually now that i think about it, both of these cars are pretty crappy lol. both are designed to be front wheel drive, GSX is front wheel drive setup with a crude rear wheel drive system added to it. one thing going for the eclipse is that it looks pretty good sports like. but both are pretty crappy cars. though i do respect the ethusiasts that love these cars, theyre just like me, they love thier cars and thats understandable. but for me im never going back to civic or eclipse.

  • @mtchu736 A Hona motor can actually handle up to 13 psi on a stock b series. K motors can handle 25+ on stock internals. A 4g63 with stock internals cant handle 25+ psi. Awsome motors tho, but as 27rdc5 said, both can have potential. id like to see any 1 run up against CFT's boosted FWD cars lol. All of their civics are in the low to mid 9 second range.

No diesel pickup sits passed 26 psi, because of the way the fuel is used. Why do you think Diesel pickups have shit for horsepower but amazing torque? Its not from the turbo lol, idiot.

  • i agree with the 81psi thing, that much boost isnt even achievable realistically in that size of head...just think, theres regular shop air compressers with tanks that would EXPLODE with that kind of pressure, but ya, vid title says low boost, wich in my book is under 20lbs and ya, you can run 10's with under 20psi but not on a stock setup, if you got airflow, fuel, timing and tune you can run 10's with 18psi....just do some searching for run 10's with a 16g turbo. awd drop a second good driver.

  • @mrh20082008 Dont get me wrong, i love eclipses, let alone the 4g63 engine, its an amazing motor indeed. But your a fuckin idiot if you believe someone is boosting their motor with 85 psi lol. The most i have ever seen from that motor was 62 psi and he was running at 1400+ hp to the motor. With 1400+ AWD he should be in the top fuel dragster status lol. That Civic with the C30A is only runnin at 36 psi and it ran a 6, RWD at that and it would outlaunch that car.

  • sir, pleas do me a favor, in your youtube search bar, type "brent rau never give up" and watch the first vid, brent might be the owner of the car you mentioned, he's at 2250 ft-lbs and 1400 hp, 86 psi at 11k rpm, fastest in the 1/4 is 6.8 last i saw, he may be faster now and he's going for 100 psi in his 2.0 4g63.. he went to 7 out of 8 NHRA events in 07 and they put weight in his car and restricted his turbo size, and he still placed 1st in all 7, watch the vid and take a look at his PCS logger

  • DSMers dont waste their fucking time and money with N/A. There is a reason the 4g63 block is all iron and thats so it can handle BOOST. You can waste money building an all motor lawn mower that still only runs 14s

  • not to burst your bubble I love DSMs but building a nice NA car is great too. It takes great skill to make an N/A fast anyone can up the boost and get power. The reason why well built hondas are fast is because they have been built to make nice power NA. When you ad boost there technology really shines through. Only bad part is it FWD and gets stolen too much.

  • @buddah463 There you go with your uneducated bullshit. Yes its an iron block, but that doesnt meen the pistons wont give out. A 4g63 stock bottom end can handle up to 18 psi and safely driven. Block is strong, but the rods arnt. A single cam d series can handle up to 13 pounds safely, b series as well. A k20 has actually been proven, and you can look it up as well, to handle 32 psi on a stock block. Not for a hell of a long time ofcourse, but it can. So before you start talking shit, research.

Even the 1g rods wont handle that much, specially not the 2g. Oh and use your head, a stock k20a2/z1 can handle 30 pounds..hmm lets see, alrdy stock your lookin at 185-190 fwhp on a kmotor, so slap on a t3/t3 57 trim safely driven at 20 psi your looking well over 390 fwhp, so im not sure why your trying to prove me wrong when i have seen this before.

  • if you have a 6 bolt 4g63 then you have one of the most reliable most sought after turbo engines in the world. the 7 bolt 4gs ruined the reputation. if you like evos there engine blocks are 4gs as well. but you also have to know how to actually take care of an engine in the first place. and you cant throw a massive turbo on a stock engine and expect it to run (fucking) awesome!

  • Eclipse gsx was built as a luxury sport compact car. It was not based around fuel economy. They make excellent autocross and rally cars. And everyone knows they kick ass at the dragstrip, they are a hell of alot closer to a race car than any honda is.
