This proves it. You can get game over on Yu Yevon so that makes him the true final boss. HA HA! Though my first file was frustrating since I had no celestial weapons so every time I hit him he'd Curaga himself back to full HP. So I just waited for his turn to ues Gravija until he had under 9999 HP and then I hit him.

@rokstar9000 umm idk what to suggest, if you're doing really bad damage (less than 9999) you can use rikku to mix trio of 9999 to increase your damage and just use tidus/wakka overdrives, and if that fails have rikku mix hyper mighty g which casts Shell, Protect, Haste, Regen, and Auto-Life on all allies (you can google the recipes to mix)

I mean if people can kill it with no sphere grid files, there's no reason somoene using the dang thing shouldn't be able to

I had no epic weaps and my stats were normal, hp not broken, damage not brken, etc. I found that having your aeons overdrives ready when you go into the fight really helps. :P save bahamut anima an the magus sisters for the second phase :P

@jecoolest look up the Don Tonberry levelling up method, use it and get loads of AP, then search for the Celestial weapons, these allow you to break the damage limit, with scarily high strength, you can kiss the 9999 limit goodbye, but if you haven't reached the calm lands yet, just keep fighting loads of monsters, hope I helped and don't be afraid to ask for more advice :)
