i went to kings island today for opening day, and it wasn't open like it was supposed to be.... apparently all the torrential we had in april put them behind and haven't been able to test it out or anything...  looks pretty cool though, and really high!!

@CraigOH1981 Yeah they blamed it on the rain but the fact is they're still constructing (not just testing) & they just couldn't meet the deadline set for opening day whether the rain came or not. To me, they're just using the rain as an excuse for being behind knowing full well the opening day deadline would not be met. A lot of money & time wasted by people who thought it was going to be open before Memorial Day, as advertised. At Cedar Point & Canada Wonderland they blamed the "rain" too. BS!

This thing is about eighty feet taller than Drop Zone at Canada's Wonderland.

It's ironic that even thoguh everyone's making such a big deal of it's massive 301' height, it's STILL nto the tallest ride in the park. Drop Zone still holds that title at 315'. Drop Zone is also the tallest freefall tower in the world.

@nintendork2000 I am a ride warrior, too. I've ridden the two tallest and currently fastest coasters in the world (I don't like them though, too boring) and I have 93 rides on Diamondback. Every other ride at Kings Island I've ridden over 10-15 times, and I've ridden every coaster at Cedar Point over 5-10 times.
