Mamoru is Darien's Japanese name.

Seiya is a character in the fifth season only aired in Japan, I would recommend watching the whole Sailor Moon series again in Japanese. It's unbelievably better, things like Haruka and Michiru (Amara and Michelle) being lesbians in the Japanese one for example. The English version changed many things because they weren't "suitable" for American TV. Hope this helped. :)

This vid was awesome I love this paring Seyia is s much better for Usagi you never see him getting brainwashed. He also isn't embarrassed to be seen with her in public and he had more of a reputation than Mamoru did. He enjoyed the crazy things Usagi did he wasn't annoyed by her wails and fits like Mamoru if anything they amused him instead of embarrassing him. He reminds me of Haruka in that aspect both only want to see her happy and safe.

I'm sorry if that's a bad thing. It's just i've watched the final season a couple of times and then compared how Seyia acts with Usagi to how Mamoru acts with Usagi. Seyia and Haruka can bribe her out of her wails fits pretty easy I don't really remember if Mamoru actually bribed her or not. He may have but he broke up with her over dreams and wouldn't work it out as a couple. He believed the voice simply because it was repetitive he also can't fight well Seyia's actually useful in a fight.

the Sailor Starlights perform as a boy band, but search for their princess as females.

I blame the confusion for the likelyhood that we will never see it offically dubbed.
