Yellow is not a great color for a Ferrari, I'm not saying I wouldn't own a yellow one just that red, black, or grey is better.

I think it depends on the Ferrari it is on as well, I mean a F430 or a 360 and an Enzo look good in yellow I have personally seen a yellow enzo that was owned by the former captain of the red wings Steve Izerman or whatever his name was unfortunately I had no camera at the time :( I thought it was nice to me, red is overdone on Ferrari's it is nice to see change. but again imo, yellow is perfect on any Lamborghini, Corvette, or Koenigsegg

Because people choose a red ferrari when they buy it ;)...Personally I think black and yellow and som green ferrari´s is much prettier to look at than a red.There are SO many red ferrari´s.

The danish Ferrari WIKIPEDIA writes that even thought most ferrari´s are red the official colour is yellow.

Or because back in the F1 days, red was assigned to Ferrari. They had no other color choice because of the race rules. BTW, Wikipedia is not a reliable source because anyone can go into it and change any article to what they want it to say.

@bordenwesley the color red is chosen purposely to attract more cops. The cops have an underground agreement setup with ferrari and the cops pay 23% of all speeding tickets back to ferrari in dividends.

Also, if you would do some research you would find out that in the early days of auto racing, colors were assigned to brand name and country of the car. Seeing as how Ferrari is from Italy, it was assigned the color red. If you want an affirmation on my claim, then Google "List of International Formula One Colors"
