This Qawwali is based on Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's Pukaro Naam Baba ka Pukaro. Sher Ali Mehr Ali are equally Brilliant, The tune is from an old Indian song. Many Thanks.

Did the Prophet SAW say don't do it? Many Khalifa's wrote and recited poetry to the Prophet SAW, you need to read beyond what is written sometimes.

music is not haram at all. why music is haram? there is nothing wrong with listening or playing music. yes if you say vulger shayari or vulger poetry its haram then i am with you. but dont blame music brother. don't make unforbidden things haram. i've heard loads of people saying music is haram, they produce dozens of hadiths and try to mold them to prove music is haram. there are hundreds of hadiths which goes against those people who say music is haram. i thing vulger poetry is haram.
