  • french language?

  • @cameron20101000 Quebecois!

  • @80sretrotv you learn french language?

  • @cameron20101000 TX schools don't teach you a foreign language?

  • @80sretrotv actually born in dallas texas and now i live at clarksville tennessee.

  • Woah!

I finally understand the logo of CBC/RC!

It's all made of "C"s and "B"s coming out from the center.

Now, with the new logo, it just looks like some sort of fragmented circle.

  • The announcer of this indent is the same as the English version?

  • fuck radio-canada!

  • the quebecois are just jealous because we pwned them on the plains of abraham. how did you guys fuck that one up? all the advantages were in your favor and we still pwned you.

  • @PsychedelicVideos Return to your History of Canada books instead of shitting on us.

  • @Punkygothicfuck u mad bro? quebecois faggot.

  • @PsychedelicVideos "we"? "you"?

Lol. You were there? Man, you must be ancient.

  • damn i grew up watching that fucking logo, its like burned into my brains

  • the best way to download this mp3 from youtube is to google mp3iiiiify.

  • Hahaha, my grandma wouldn't let me watch the french channel because she didn't want me picking up any swear words lol... do they really swear that much on SRC?

I used to watch that channel all the time... i remember a show called La Petite Vie... i didn't understand the language but i still thought the show was hillarious lol

  • @wilkes85 ...that is so funny...dont know why but i used to love channel 11 radio canada as a kid in calgary...CBFT I think...think its where my beginnings of a francophile began

  • "i used to love channel 11 radio canada as a kid in calgary"@ldhorricks No doubt, man. They had some killer cartoons on French CBC channel 11 in Calgary, thats fer sure!

  • Vraiment? je ne penserais pas que tu mémé serai capable de comprendre les vulgarités il seulement dit les vulgarités majeur dans le nuit! dans le jour tu peut attendre Zut! et enfers

  • Here is y comment in English: Really? i would not think that you could understand the swearing... they only say the big ones (F dash dash dash) during the night! During the day you can here Damn and hell

  • "do they really swear that much on SRC?"

Oooooh yes they do! Lots of "f*ck" and "sh*t"!

  • In BC we'd watch the French channel for the nudes.

  • @Yakovlievich

Same thing in Manitoba! Saturdays after midnight, they had some wild stuff on Canal 3

  • @Yakovlievich ,in Quebec we'd watch the english channel instead taking sleeping pills!!!!

  • @Yakovlievich Same reason I'd watch the French channel here in Winnipeg years & years ago. Saturday nights after midnight: OOOH LA LA! :D

  • @Yakovlievich Do they really have nudity on Radio-Canada?

  • @JimmyMcShane96 I've lived in Montreal nearly all my life, and don't speak french, but yes, when we were teenagers, years ago, we'd all turn to one of the French TV stations after midnight to watch soft core porn. There was one show called Blue Nuit, (Blue Night). The English TV stations had nothing like it.

Even when that TV show "He Shoots, He Scores" came on we'd watch the French version "Il Lance, Il Compte" because it had extra scenes with more nudity.

  • @wilkes85 i knows its a longs time ago but.. no lol they were not swearing a lots..

  • En Francais! I speak English but I saw this in Vancouver, Toronto & Montreal French Channels

Merci beaucoup ! !

I may speak English, but you know what I mean. :D

  • OMG! I used to see/hear this when I was a kid trying to grow up in Buffalo, NY. THANKS for posting!

  • Radio Canada, friggin beacon of freedom worldwide...Even people in Soviet Siberia would pick up Radio Canada over the North Pole at night and dream of freedom.

  • @RideMyBMW This was three years prior Glasnost. As far I can tell from Germany, citizens from GDR weren't allowed to pick up any western TV (ARD, ZDF or so). Germany has PAL as a TV-system. GDR used SECAM. USSR (Russia) uses the same system. So I doubt that they could watch your programmes. NTSC's framerate is 60 Hz, PAL/Secam's framerate is 50Hz. If you take a VHS from the USA and put it into a German player, you'll see nothing than grey stripes. That's for the view from technology.

  • @RideMyBMW Really?? It must have been shortwave. Transcontinental AM/MW DX so far inland is rare.

  • Oh my god, I remember seeing this when I was like really young when my dad would watch Radio-Canada!!

  • i just watched this thirty times in a row, what the hell is wrong with me?

  • Oh mon Dieu!!! Enfin!!!

    MercI!

  • I used to hear it on my am radio. Barely but still could hear the radio station. The tune was catchy and made me want to learn what they were saying in french

  • "Ici Radio Canada." It means "Here is Radio Canada."

  • Says who?

I'm glad Quebec is part of Canada and that they have there own diverse culture. Quebec will always be part of Canada as far as I'm concerned.

  • @CYQT Québec will always be part of canada hahah are you serious?? idiot.

  • I use to hear this from Illinois as I was learning french in the 80's. It was a catchy tune and it made me want to learn french even more. I really miss this tune cause it brings back good memories. Wish they would bring it back.

  • These are all really great! Thanks for sharing these bits of odd nostalgia.

  • Ahhhh re-freshing :)

  • Ici Radio-Canada! Oui je pense je

  • Une pizza exploding!

  • Ou "l'explosion de la pizza."

  • Haha!
