  • @StompySan that's mr Mackey. XD

  • @StompySan thats mr. mackey..

  • @StompySan Drugs are what? Seriously man...

  • @alainpolis 0:50 Apologize, 0:53 Otherwise 1:17 Ohmicide .... SODOMIZE THAT SOUND LIKE THE FILTHY SLUTBAG SHE IS (i think what i mean to say is, if you were to cut out the customary apologies i might have been able to finish the video without hearing some unholy bass dropping in between the otherwise) YEAH OHMICIDE ... WITH THIS WE SHALL ASSIMILATE SKYNET

  • omg this kick i love it! Nice Job

  • your voice ¬¬

  • @saturnus74 its soo..... breathy... :P

  • i do everything rigjit in the vid but i don't get a punchy sound :/ can you helpme correct it by anychance?!

  • @hardcorebootlegs

I don't use this method in making a gabber kick anymore. I will be making a new video showing how I make my new kick once I get my new music-making / gaming rig set up.

  • to mute the kick at the end, make the delay and release smaller (the right of the 2 slider things in the middle of the vst.) if your using 170 bpm for you hardcore track 0.352 is perfect amount of release (60/170=0.352) any longer and you wont hear it.

  • a little loud!, dude i nearly had a heart attack! haha

  • One of the better (read: the only good) kick tutorials I've seen on YouTube, but the distortion you use Ohmicide for can be accomplished simply using the effects that come with the program, namely, Fruity Squeeze and, to a lesser extent, the WaveShaper.

  • @NuclearDuckie Yeah, I know. This tutorial is old. I now just use a combination of Bitcrusher and Fruity Squeeze. I may make a new video soon, because this video is not good.

  • @StompySan do you know how to make gabber kicks on logic pro? :L

  • @132hooligan its a vst, so the same

  • Amazing tutorial! Really professional sound to it!

  • @newzealanddude92 Thanks! This is an old tutorial, however. I am probably going to make a new tutorial eventually.

  • So this was pretty much epicness on all levels... a total legit tut on how to make a total legit kick

  • I cant stop the sound from playing on forever, just like djsycopath,

and what do you mean by 0% velocity? it doesnt make a sound at all then.

plz tell me what you did.

    thanks and great tutorial! :D

  • @drummerkidmashy use the Velocity Fader from the mixer, doesn't affect fx

  • How do you mute the kick at the end? insted of that note constantly playing till it relays out.

  • @DjSyCoPath If I remember right, if you make a note with 0% velocity, it should mute it. I am not sure, though. I don't use this method anymore.

  • @DjSyCoPath just press Cutoff in your StepSequencer.

  • @LynnFiron and where is that?

  • my micro tonic plays whenever the fuck it wants like i dont even have it down on the patterns and it plays wen its not even up to it

  • @overdriverevolution Press the piano key in the top right corner

  • aweso0me thanks

  • PEOPLE! DON"T ACQUIRE STUFF! PAY FOR THE DAMN SHIT! uTONIC IS CHEAP AND WORTH TWICE S MUCH AS IT COST AND OHM! IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! AND CHEAP!

  • guy this is awesome :)

  • @FlashfireDJ Thanks.

  • How to you get your voice into fl mixer??

    Great kick 5*

  • @DjHardFella I used Edison to record the audio on the main channel, and I just enabled my mike on a random mixer channel.

  • Wow, incredibly easy tutorial, and the kick is just beautiful. Thanks so much dude. Also, Is it possible that you could do a hardstyle kick tutorial?

  • @manman246 I really, REALLY, hate hardstyle, so probably not.

  • speak up

  • Fun fact: this was recorded with a Rock Band mic. I am going to remake one with my new headset, so check back soon.

  • awsome m8...well impressed...could u tell me wer i can get ohmicide

  • i am a reason user so can u save the patch as a wav file in fl once your happy with the loop

  • You can use the VST in Reason as well.

  • can you....i didnt think reason let u use vsts at all...could u send me and e.mail how to do it...will it let u use microtonic in reason aswell....

  • @StompySan You cannot use any VST in Reason, as it does not support them.

  • @Levzi Why use Reason then?...

  • @Jfrosth As it has a couple of good modules in it, that make good kick drums. Malstrom and the scream4 distortion unit, you can't get them in vst, so reason is good for that.

  • @Levzi Yeah. I used to use ReWired to open Reason in FL and used Malstrom and Scream4 for my gabber kicks. However, they don't give that real harsh-sounding punch that I personally wanted. It has some REALLY good modules.

  • @Jfrosth You can rewire Reason into many programs, virtually any program that supports VSTs since there's a rewire VST. So in other words, you can plug Reason into Cubase or Pro Tools and use all of Reasons instruments along with any VST.

  • Is there any way to make my MIDI keyboard (model M-AUDIO Keystation 61es) work with Reason it's pretty fucked up because my model is not in the list of supported keyboards

  • @zografsky I have the exact same model MIDI keyboard and I couldn't get it working properly. Sorry.

  • can you....i didnt think reason let u use vsts at all...could u send me and e.mail how to do it...will it let u use microtonic in reason aswell....

  • @djlivie Buy it online, or "acquire it".

  • @djlivie OMG! DON"T "acquire it"!!!!!!!! OHMICIDE is worth every penny you PAY for it! AND uTONIC is worth 2x what it cost! stop "acquiring" software and pay for the damn stuff! you and your comp. will be better for it!

  • thank you man, you have given me the raw sound i need for my HC gabber kicks! thank you! :D

  • Wow Thanks a lot ! This is the best way to make hc kicks i've ever seen!

But is there a way to shorten the release of the kick : / ? It takes almost 6 seconds to release after releasing the key... :(

  • thank you !!!!!!

really helped me well i know how to make kicks but this VSTS rock!!!

    thanks dude!

  • very nice ! thanks for this tutorial ;)

  • Finally I've discovered how to make this kick! Thank you so much!

  • ohmicide for mac only?:(

  • If you see the popup that appears, it is clearly running on a PC machine (Windows 7).

  • great video man wanna try my hand at a gabber track

  • Hope this helped.

  • it did with the kick i didnt know how to make one and now i do lol....im geussing you make gabber tracks?

  • Every now and then. I just make whatever kind of music I feel like making.

  • o cool man

  • Subtitles . We need them.

  • Just wing it. I am a lazy bastard and don't feel like making them.

  • oh wow, much better than any gabber kick i've been able to make. very much appreciated, i'll put this to good use.
