@HorseandPonyInfo hi thankyou...no it didnt take him long, couple of days of 10min sessions and he was picking it up, few more days and he was retrieving..i started him with a dumbbell and how i did this is shown in step by step guides on the dumbbell retrieve video i made. He is a real natural retriever..lol! we also taught our mini pony to retrieve too...his rubber ring retrieve is also on my you tube home page. you are welcome to share what ever you find on my you tube home page.

Thank you for leaving a kind message about my children's pony video. They would certainly have much fun with that little donkey of yours. Our ponies haven't been trained at all they are just around the children and they just have fun. I don't instruct them at all the children pick up a few things watching mama. I would very much like to learn about clicker training. I will be heading to the USA for a road trip so might be able to find some courses along the way:)

Wow! That's impressive! What a smart donkey! I love the stone walls around your paddock as well. We just have plain old boring wire ones here in Oz. :o(
