BUT, for us hardcore SAAB owners, SAAB will live on in our garages and minds (I just purchased SAAB #5 two months ago...that's not counting leases, owned back-to-back models since the 1980's, great cars...except for the Saabaru I made the mistake of buying in 2005 for fun)!

I'm sorry, ladies and gentlemen, especially Castriota, I really don't like this car. I don't like it as a SAAB, and I don't like it at all. It looks like a car for a gymrat. The new 9-5, on the other hand, looks like a car for an intelligent, sophisticated executive or entrepreneur.

Jason Castriota! I know you joint SAAB only recently, so you probably do not know how many "Dream cars" SAAB presented over the last years. None of them was ever realised! In fact all were fakes trying to suggest something very special. The spirit of Saab? Has it become a ghost? I am shocked about the way you are presenting here: Do you really compare to Jonathan Ive? The way how you copy his way to communicate is obvious! His products are real and available! SAAB is only streaming dreams ..

What i don't get thou is why they spend so much money on a conceptcar that isn't going to be built. They could have done the awesome and built it for a changed and possibly made a great deal out of it because it's so different from other cars on the market today.

@hadabenz hey! I wish I was a 12 year old. maybe i could have been harsher. Saab doesn't need another "politically incorrect" super car. Saab needs a functional, safe durable cars. There are so many good designers out there, just because castriota has some sort of good body language, kind of charisma etc shouldn't put him in to the director position. its sad for saab, sad for the world energy. and yes, i will contact him one day.

Castriota has borrowed too much from the GM concepts, the Aero X etc, and just made a complicated mess out of them. Bring something new, and original to the table! The aero-car thing is boring and tried.
