@pushingtin25 Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't home when you replied to me >_< It's just one of his techniques he uses in Level 5 for example where he makes an illusion that he's playing a constant tempo of 16th notes in the background of a melody. You don't hear it because he's making you focus on the melody. But if you look at the tab or slow it down you will hear that the 16th notes not are constant. Awesome technique according to me :)

@Mattroful It's a dreadnought acoustic, which gives you a much fuller sound than an electro-acoustic when amped up. Not sure of the make, but I don't think that matters tbh. The main factor in his sound is that his strings are brand new (which give a much crisper sound than worn strings). Stick a new set of d'addario EXP's Light 10s on an acoustic guitar, and you won't be far off. After that, it's his technique (lots of palm muting/harmonics, played via finger picking + thumb pick).

@robthebloke I believe he's using Elixir's Nanoweb strings, 12's. And some, according to me, typical techniques he 's using are for example the slap with the righthand on the bass string (get's a really nice slap sound when the strings are new), then slapping with his lefthand on the fretboard (he's using gripper to strengthen his hand) and his 16th note bass illussion "trick" where he makes it sound that he's plaing a melody ontop a constant 16th note octave bass:) A special pattern with the RH
