Phil is usually a little pitchy but he has great dirty vox. That's one thing he's damn good at and can do all the growls, screams, guttural stuff etc, great metal vocalist.

The lack of quality is probably due to his not wanting to burn out his voice box.

He has a powerful voice and its rough.

Try singing that chorus like the album version every time it's performed and you wouldn't like the result too well yourself.

I can tell you he puts everything in the chorus of this song and after a couple songs singing and screaming like he does, it's hard to give a great "all."

I'm sure he steps up his game but he is only human.

@Gracefulpine lol... well as a singer myself, knowing he has the best vocal coach on the planet, and an accomplished touring band to back him, I'd appreciate it if he put his heart into every performance. I've seen footy of him and Melissa working on his voice, he has it in him to perform every night, as well he should. I would not boast so openly with no creds dude. makes you look like an ass. :)
