i must say, i'm an officer's wife and i, too, am disgusted by these women who do this. every military spouse deals w/ a lot of crap and we love our husbands just the same. it's not fair or right for any of us to look down on anyone else because of their husband's rank. that includes officer's wives who think they are hot shit AND enlisted wives who think that ALL officers' wives are bitches and assume we are ALL like the women you are speaking of in this video.

This so SO funny! My husband is an HM3 in the Navy, and we don't get anything special. When we go to the commissary, there is no close parking for expectant mothers, or families with kids, just handicapped, and LOTS of officer parking. Really? You were once where my husband is, so you are no better. Yeah, I get that you've earned the rank, but still. I have a 27 Lb chunker to carry from the end of the parking lot just because of it. And most of the time, the spots are empty.

"why are you searching me? i'll call my husband, he's a master sergeant, we've been on this base for 4 years, blah blah blah.") She tried to cuss out my husband at a food lion because he was in his ACU's and wasn't on duty. The thing is, he had just got off work and we needed some milk and eggs. Because my husband is an E-4 and hers was a Warren Officer. I think if they want to pull the rank they need to go through the work and training that our husbands go through.

Best situation I have ever seen: A lady walks into the school mad and pulling her husband's rank on these ladies who just work at this school. The guy's rank wasn't even that huge haha. My mother was a Air Force Wife for 21 years (pretty much my whole life) and my dad retired as a Master Sergent. She NEVER flaunted anything. In fact she worked at the troop BMT store on Lackland for six years and she would pay for a trainee if they didn't have enough money. She would always let active duty cut in front of her no matter where we were. She was an amazing woman and now that I'm getting married to man in the navy I hope I can be half the woman, wife, and mother she is.

Kudos!!!! My husband is Security Forces, and honestly rank dont mean shit, like you said, you break the law, you get in trouble. I have been saying this for SO many years. I honestly dont get it, when i get wives that are stuck up and look down there noses at me, and rattle off a rank thats higher then my husbands? i reply with "He's been in 12 years, I REALLY hope he's higher ranking then my husband who's only been in for 3" Ugh i dont even associate with wives for this very reason!

ALL military wives) go to what I would say a conference for their unit. . I just saw this video and I have to say thank you. I think it is sad when women try and pull this. I had a woman try and do that both on post and off. She tried to cuss out my husband at a food lion because he was in his ACU's and wasn't on duty. The thing is, he had just got off work and we needed some milk and eggs. Because my husband is an E-4 and hers was a Warren Officer. I think if they want to pull the rank they need to go through the work and training that our husbands go through.

I just wanna say that in my personal experience, a spouse that acts this way does so bc its the way the service member acts. If a Major thinks his shit doesnt stick...then the spouse is gonna act the same way. Ive seen this happen with Cpl's wives...its all in how the servicemember acts bc it is the example that the spouse sees.

Best situation I have ever seen: A lady walks into the school mad and pulling her husband's rank on these ladies who just work at this school. The guy's rank wasn't even that huge haha. Also talked to an officer's wife who walked away when she found out I was a privates wife IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONVERSATION. No matter what rank my husband gets I will still act the same way I do now. I didn't go through the training or the promotions or the deployments.

My mother was a Air Force Wife for 21 years (pretty much my whole life) and my dad retired as a Master Sergent. She NEVER flaunted anything. In fact she worked at the troop BMT store on Lackland for six years and she would pay for a trainee if they didn't have enough money. She would always let active duty cut in front of her no matter where we were. She was an amazing woman and now that I'm getting married to man in the navy I hope I can be half the woman, wife, and mother she is.
