  • Great car, simple yet so so good! just how i like mini's :D

  • Hi Mate i LOVE the look of your mini and i love them but im a 6,5ft rugby player i was wondering if i would have a hope in hell of getting in one, i herd you can get extended seat brackets

  • @MrLukealfano I am also 6ft 5, and I found the problem in minis isn't really legroom; there's just enough of that. The problem is headroom, but that's pretty easily solved with a bucket seat that sits nice and low. I'm a skinny chap though, so if you're a rugby player with huge shoulders you might get some rubbage of your right arm against the driver's door.

  • this is amazing! That engine noise is epic! cant believe you spent £9000 getting it to this point. bet it was all worth it though :)

  • love the sound of that engine climbing the rev counter! :)

  • Why do mini's sound so good?

  • what type of car is the overhead console out of? really nice little feature!

  • The overhead console is out of an old Fiat Regata...

  • You drove that near the fox and hound pub? west sussex? ;D

  • @StrawBaBBerry wow, small world, i go past there most days :D

  • what a fantastic car, you have worked a charm on it! It sounds just brilliant :D

  • that gear change at 4:00 :P

  • What a fantastic Mini, really impressive! thanks for the video

  • I've driven so many good cars (expensive ones too...not mine though!) but I've never know a car like my old 1380 Mini. That thing was incredible. Unless you've driven an old Mini it's impossible to appreciate how controllable and balanced they are. Down twisty country lanes there isn't much that this thing couldn't leave for dead.

  • how much did you spend in total to git this god like mini in to gear

  • I added it up once and it was nearly £9,000 It's easy to get carried away with these things over the years...

  • Beautiful, perfect in every way.

  • Excellent car. Anyone know where I can get a good quality engine noise from one of these as an mp3? Would love to have it as a mobile ring tone :p

  • Brill...

  • still shiting bricks when i see cars on the right side

  • was think omfg how does it make that noise untill you said 45 weber :P

  • If you ever want to sell this min, let me know. Well done mate, a great build and no bullshit.

  • Spot on mate...spot on. Havent seen a mini done so well ever. Youve really kept the essence of the mini there. What a pure mini. Bet its a joy to drive and your a lucky man

  • sounds a bit better then my mini

  • mate you have a perfect mini right there absolutely beautiful......i think im in love

  • It sounds so good!

  • jesus im from the us an seeing cars on the right side almost made me crap my pants

  • Bloody awesome

  • Nice car.

  • sounds great!

  • That is great. Love the car. Love the innovations and simple little things that make it a truly unique car. Might have to steal that relay and fuse location.

  • Was getting both the electric windows and central locking installed difficult? I want a Mini for my first car and I don't like the idea of having to open the car with a key and having to roll down the window, so both of them would make a big difference. If you were only able to have one which one would you recommend? Also how much is the car to run (tax, insurance group) ?

  • nice mini you've got there, hope you went to the london to brighton yesterday!

  • JakeT0195 - wood & pickett electric windows and central locking, really makes a difference...

  • perfect absolutly stunning, that webber bark is just awsome, what power are you making with that, im running the 286 in mine aswell, have you done an MOT with this car, I can't get mine through emmisions.

  • behenjamin - thanks for your comment, the power was 113bhp at the flywheel on minispeeds rolling road, last September. The car is 1972 so it only had to pass the visable smoke test... I'm sure with a little tweeking on your car you should be able to get the emissions lower...

  • fucking beautiful!

  • Yes, it's very nice. It just needs front red LEDs like KIT in Knight Rider to complete it.

    Sent from my iPhone.

  • Holy cheese mate, really nice mini!

  • unbelievable... It is a tremendous force in a mini!!! i live it! How much horsepower?

    N. Pa

  • That is a BEAST of a mini ! It's got all the cool trick stuff on it . I like the remove able inner wings for acces to the clutch area that's beats taking the engine out .makes me want to go work on mine now 5 star vid great !
