Hi Mate i LOVE the look of your mini and i love them but im a 6,5ft rugby player i was wondering if i would have a hope in hell of getting in one, i herd you can get extended seat brackets
@MrLukealfano I am also 6ft 5, and I found the problem in minis isn't really legroom; there's just enough of that. The problem is headroom, but that's pretty easily solved with a bucket seat that sits nice and low. I'm a skinny chap though, so if you're a rugby player with huge shoulders you might get some rubbage of your right arm against the driver's door.
I've driven so many good cars (expensive ones too...not mine though!) but I've never know a car like my old 1380 Mini. That thing was incredible. Unless you've driven an old Mini it's impossible to appreciate how controllable and balanced they are. Down twisty country lanes there isn't much that this thing couldn't leave for dead.
Spot on mate...spot on. Havent seen a mini done so well ever. Youve really kept the essence of the mini there. What a pure mini. Bet its a joy to drive and your a lucky man
That is great. Love the car. Love the innovations and simple little things that make it a truly unique car. Might have to steal that relay and fuse location.
Was getting both the electric windows and central locking installed difficult? I want a Mini for my first car and I don't like the idea of having to open the car with a key and having to roll down the window, so both of them would make a big difference. If you were only able to have one which one would you recommend? Also how much is the car to run (tax, insurance group) ?
perfect absolutly stunning, that webber bark is just awsome, what power are you making with that, im running the 286 in mine aswell, have you done an MOT with this car, I can't get mine through emmisions.
behenjamin - thanks for your comment, the power was 113bhp at the flywheel on minispeeds rolling road, last September. The car is 1972 so it only had to pass the visable smoke test... I'm sure with a little tweeking on your car you should be able to get the emissions lower...
That is a BEAST of a mini ! It's got all the cool trick stuff on it . I like the remove able inner wings for acces to the clutch area that's beats taking the engine out .makes me want to go work on mine now 5 star vid great !
Great car, simple yet so so good! just how i like mini's :D

Yes, it's very nice. It just needs front red LEDs like KIT in Knight Rider to complete it.
