I found through a lot of play testing that if you play the drums significantly more lightly they work pretty darn well. They're just so sensitive that any hard hit can cause a double hit.
I think its Rock Band thats the problem. Someone on the forums said that because RB1 doesnt support velocity sensitivity, the hard hits will somehow make the 2 middle drums like that (?)
Blue is most definitely the problem from what I can tell, but sometimes it double hits and sometimes it doesn't, even when drumming at the same intensity.
could just be that you are holding onto the stick too hard, and the set is much more sensitive than the RB1 kit, and the stick is physically hitting 2 times but the second one wouldn't be hard enough for the RB1 kit to detect.
I believe it definitely has something to do with me hitting too hard, but it's not me hitting the pad twice, I think it's some kind of residual vibration causing it.
i love that song i might download it someday rock band 2 dlc is awsome ghwt is lame

Sock mod it. That's what serik did and he said it's worked better than a Sock modded QM.

Remember that the new drums are velocity-sensitive and not piezo sensors so that might be the problem as well.

Since it seems to center around 1 pad I'm reluctant to think that's the cause, but since I haven't quite narrowed it down I won't rule it out.

lol there are like 3495i3459 double hits that was pretty much an fc without double hits
