SVGR: Raiden 3 for PS2

This game is available for download from the psstore for a bit over $10, I believe. I've haven't played many smups but I aggre on the music standpoint. 3 just sounds like a typical flying simulator theme. If you want good theme music, look toward the late 80's to mid '90s.

lol too hard for little kids. Little kids are the only ones dumb enough to play new games over and over that are stupidly hard. So yes, your problem is nostalgia.

I sort of agree with the music, but at the same time, I am just not impressed with the music on the first 2 either, whether or not they 'stick in my head'. Unfortunately, lots of crappy songs get stuck in my head.

I'm one of the guys who loves shooters but never really played Raiden 1 or 2.

I just got into shooters recently ^_^

Ever player Mushihime Sama? or Touhou? Just recently got Soldner X on PS3 Network and it looks pretty good so far. Great review Swag! ^_^ I actually wondered if I should get that game.

Raiden IV is out i think in Japan and so is Raiden Fighters ACE both for the Xbox 360

what sucks more..is that we are defintiy not getting other awesome shooters like DonDonpache BLACK BOX i think thats the name and Thunder Force VI which Classic Game Room did a good review for that. TF6 is even in friggin english. Damn region coding.

i remember renting Raiden Trad over and over from a video store (it's closed now) when i was 6 years old for my SNES... This brought back a lot of memories.

Great game, possibly one of my favorites of all time. Good review by the way.

Nice little retrospective on the series. Shooters are a great thing that there's definitely no shortage of, but it's hard to find some that are truly great. I learned a lot about Raiden though; good reviews.

Sorry if it's a little confusing to you. In this review I tried to kind of speed through the history because the review of Raiden 3 was my main subject. in hindsight, I probably just should have done a separate video on the history of Raiden so as not to rush it here; live and learn.
