I suggest the person in this video find someone who has big snakes and pay them to teach you how to handle a large burmese like this. With the snake wrapped around your neck there is is pretty much nothing you can do if it decides to contstrict or panicks and squeezes a little bit.

It really does not matter how well u think u know the snake. They are still wild animals. They are still unpredictable. And i'm hoping that u did not have that snake since it was a hatchling because then u would be responsible for it being so small. a 5 year old female should be atleast 14 feet if it was indeed fed properly. burms are very mellow, you talk about them as if they are wc amazon tree boas or something, I feed my snake once every other week. it would take a while for yours to get that big, 5 years probably.
cleaning out is easy if you have newspaper bedding and a good mop

Only if your not careful, and we must be talking about a fairly large snake here to have the weight to do that. I'd probably draw the line around 14ft with using more than just 1 shoulder to drag them around. But i dont keep burms just retics, maybe they grip different.

Dogs have been known to turn on a dime, rip peoples arms and faces apart and even kill. These cases are much higher than anything a burmese would do. Even wild burms are very friendly. Get over it.

I know an albino ball python can go for $2000 and I have seen what they call Lucidic ball pythons go for $15000. The Lucidic are all white no yellow paterns on them and have red and black eyes. Really cool and really expensive.
Fletchburmese I don't know the psi on a python however it is 80psi for an anaconda when it is constricting. Granted anaconda's are heavier bodied then pythons but pythons are longer so they can put more coils around so it may even out for both to be around 80psi. Hope that helps you out.

once a large constrictor hits eight foot or so, you should use a couple of people that know what they are doing to handle it. not only for owner safety, but picking up a large snake that weighs that much can break ribs, and cause internal bleeding and may even puncture the snakes lung. and just how did your snake get out in the first place??? i hope it's not due to irresponsibility

She has a construction slucepipe that she likes to sleep in during the day, and a heated blanket (under a small roof)to get under when it's cold. A kid's pool gives her plenty of water to drink and submerse herself. She eats well. We don't get her out to play with or enter her cage except to throw in supper (video made when she got loose).
Actually Jake is a female. When I got him I was told that it was a male, so I named him Jake. But when he was sexed, he is a she... I think I was told he was a male because they don't get as big. But it's cool, because my Girlfriend didn't want a female..hehe Now she's stuck with him/her....

the most important 2 advices, after working years with snakes:

You know some prig out there is going to try to keep a green anaconda as a pet one day. Pretty snake, though if it was cold enough to make you feel safe around her, it probably wasn't all that great for the snake.

She's gorgeous but id be carefully looping her like he did. even being friendly and trying to get somewhere she could squeeze and ADLEAST knock you out without wanting too. the curse of being so big. I LOVE Burms but i couldnt own one right now living alone. I settle for my boa for now

once a large constrictor hits eight foot or so, you should use a couple of people that know what they are doing to handle it. not only for owner safety, but picking up a large snake that weighs that much can break ribs, and cause internal bleeding and may even puncture the snakes lung. and just how did your snake get out in the first place??? i hope it's not due to irresponsibility

It was cold and u put her around ur neck, thats really the most likely time a snake will constrict to get warm. But I bet your had a sword or big knife for protection.

no, that's why I said we don't get her out to "play" with or enter her cage except to throw in supper. Except for this day of the video, when she got loose (and it was very cold and she could barely move), we don't go near her.

it's outdoors (Florida) and measures 16' x 10' x 7' high. She has a construction slucepipe that she likes to sleep in during the day, and a heated blanket (under a small roof)to get under when it's cold. A kid's pool gives her plenty of water to drink and submerse herself. She eats well. We don't get her out to play with or enter her cage except to throw in supper (video made when she got loose).

Actually Jake is a female. When I got him I was told that it was a male, so I named him Jake. But when he was sexed, he is a she... I think I was told he was a male because they don't get as big. But it's cool, because my Girlfriend didn't want a female..hehe Now she's stuck with him/her....
