His family name Kerry actually originated from his father Fritz who opened a map when the immigrated to America and closed his eyes and dropped a pencil upon the page and wherever he landed would be his families new name. He landed on County Kerry, Ireland, so that became their name. He isn't Irish at all.

Yet fast forward to 2003 and he votes to authorize the Iraq war and does not change his position until polls show that it is safe to oppose the war. And he had the nerve to bash Bush for his service when he went on tour with hanoi jane. Kerry just goes were the polls go.
