Sounds wonderful. I was thinking about this same camera and mic option; does it also take a switchboard to hook up the rode? Or will it just plug straight in?
@BoatswainEgregious Just straight into the mic input that is included with the camera. It does not need the optional audio adapter. I love the Rode SVM.
Thanks for doing this. I'm also in the market for these two items. I'm a total amateur when it comes to video and external mics so this helps a lot!
