The Movie is about the French indian war and the fall of Fort Ticonderoga. The Oneidas were part of the Iroquis nation,with the mohawks ,senecas,Unandagas,the Kayugas, and later the Tuskarora, they called themselves the Hau de no sau nee , the Mohicans were enemies of the Iriquois, so were the Heuron(Maguoi)

Perhaps Irish; perhaps Scottish. Both are so close it's sometimes hard to tell. However historically in this period in North America there were more Scottish emigrants than Irish due to the Jacobite Rebellions. Just an opinion.
