I was enjoying the video when I spotted the comments from arcelor2006. I had to laugh really and wondered if arcelor2006 could tell me why I've just had to patch up my Stealth with Hobie cat parts and why my T-folis cracked before they saw any water and why my Stealth hulls are delaminating. F16s and FX-ones have joint race days at Datchet Water. The last one I attended FX-ones took all top three places.
joga: for sure, if you are used to a smart, you think being fast is when you are quicker than a pedestrian. but a fast sailing product never left the hobie shipyard.
any f16 if singelhanded sailed(Falcon/Stealth/Blade...) better built, faster, lighter, better to sail and CHEAPER. even a Shadow is the by far beter manageble choice..
Six of these sailing 52 weeks of the year on Galway Bay west of Ireland. Their sailed 3 sails and two up and are magic, fast, forgiving and very competitive;.l
Beautiful boat and great sailing! Thanks very much for sharing your terrific video.

They are great looking boats, aren't they?
I would love to get one of these one day, more fun with the wings than any F16!!!! Anything Hobie/Nacra is reliable.
Love your work mate, Thanks for putting the vid up for us all to enjoy,
Chocko

I'm glad that you like my video. It's always fun to sail with my Hobie fx. But if you like to buy one you must know certain things.

fx-one: too heavy, too expensive, too slow...

What is the alternative to fx-one?

@arcelor2006 F16 is also too heavy, only the A class can claim being light. but I bet the Fx would handle social sailing better then an F16.
