lol when these dlps, lcd's, and plasma tv's came out they putting alot of crt repair shops out of business, now samsung's failure rate of tv's are putting the shops back into business
replace the color wheel. should be $100 or so and about an hours worth of screws i had the same problem and it was "the color wheel.(use new and original parts) good luck.
i have the same problem with my tv,,it wouldnt turn on with the light on,,sometimes i just turned it on then it would turn its self of again,,what is wrong with it,,any ideas,,please let me know if you can

dude it's your color wheel...other than the fan you stopped and the fan for the lamp that's the only other moving part on the TV.
