I guess, only American people believe, that Leæther Strip is an Industrial Music group. In Europe, Industrial Music is connected to Throbbing Gristle, SPK, Lustmord, Whitehouse, Boyd Rice and Genocide Organ.
Industrial Music was never ever Dance or Club Music. And Claus Larsen was never a fan of Industrial Music. He is primarily inspired by SynthPop groups, such as Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Soft Cell etc.
I guess there is a newer artist called grendel that did a cover? No comment on that, but Underneath The Laughter was one of the few EBM albums that was fantastic all the way through, and Don't Tame Your Soul was one of the best parts of it. If you're looking for a good introduction to band or to the genre, this would be a great choice.
Why do people tag ebm in shit that isent ebm...leave it industrial and keep it industrial. This craps old school.
