I was a fan. He was great on American Idol. I wish he could be a little less controversial. Why does he have to make his personal life choices part of his act? He has a fantastic voice. I would love to hear him singing songs that are challenging and innovative without being offensive. If a performer knows that something he does in his act is offensive, why would he want to keep doing it? I'm not a prude but I believe there's a place for everything (and everything in its place).

I had heard some rumblings about this "controversy" back then and I guess media comments about him being some kind of fame whore or something, but I really didn't know anything about him and didn't watch his AI season. Now, I'm finding his latest singles pretty catchy and looked him up on here. I like him! He's not what I expected. Because, Kris said it himself, he couldn't do that stuff on Idol, and he wasn't "hiding his sexuality", the American Idol people told him not to address it until Idol was over. If you watch the interviews of when he was on, he never actually says "I'm not gay", he beats around the bush, saying things like "I am who I am, and I'm not hiding anything, I'm proud of the person I've become, etc.".

Although I am not a Kradam fan I really thought Kirs answer was fine he is probably tired of always being ask about Adam in his interviews. Maybe he feels a little overshadowed.
