  • It really is such a shame that Toyota pulled out of Formula 1 at the end of the 2009 season, because a 26 car grid would've made F1 very thrilling to watch.

  • The barrier tried to eat him.

And why are people saying "What an idiot" and stuff? The car went slightly wide WHILE THE WHEEL WAS TURNED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, and then it lost complete control. You can't blame Glock for that!

  • the car grunted as if it said ouch :D

  • The inception of Kamui Kobayashi

  • what an idiot

  • @deuste99 u retard

  • @BigCluster95 hahahahahah maybe your FATHER is a retard

  • @deuste99 u suck kid

  • Looks as though the steering input had a problem but surprised we was able to walk away as the wishbone could have gone into his leg and prevented him from walking! That's whats happened to alot of other drivers

  • Timo was very sick that week end .. It was a driving mistake , but its very easy to do at this speed and especially with the temperature of your body more than 38.0 being very sick

  • i think his front right tire was broken

  • Don't worry, I'm sure he's still driving the Lexus isF with Virgin Racing stickers, lol

  • was that a crash in which he had hurt his leg because of the little parts of the front wreck flying around?

  • Rumor was that he sneezed. lol Never sneeze in an F1 car.

  • And so he was out and Kamui Kobayashi took his place. The rest is history.

  • T-imo Glock and T-oyota !

  • un korte d 5 cm , pero en dond?

  • its never good when you hit a tyre wall so hard you faceplant into it...

  • eu lembro disso foi do caralho

    i remeber that DUDE

  • This bastard should have never went into F1! Cost poor Massa the title

  • @MartinezMKD if he wasnt in the brazil race in 2008, then hamilton would have been in the same position he finished in you idiot

  • @MartinezMKD What you're saying is not true. Timo Glock didn't cost Massa the title in 2008. In fact, he almost did cost Lewis the title in 2008. In Sao Paulo, Toyota had gambled and advised their drivers to stay out on dry weather tyres in thr starting rain. Thhis gamble did pay off until the last corner came. I've read that you're a Ferrari fan, but that shouldn't affect your judgement.

  • @TheColinChapman If u see the lap times of the penultimate and the last lap you will see that on the penultimate lap him time is better by 4-5 secs than on his last lap... The conditions didn't get so much worse over one lap for him to lose 5 seconds! But whatever, I'm not gonna argue about this again, i liked Ferrari because of Kimi and because Mclaren stole ferrari data to become strong so im not the most die hard fan of them, just for the record

  • @MartinezMKD I contradict. Rain can make a lap time difference from one lap to the next lap by over twenty(!) seconds. Both Toyotas stayed out on slicks, Timo's last lap was 1:44 , Jarno's last lap was 1:45 - and I don't believe they both slowed down on purpose. Regarding the 2007 'Spygate' scandal, it is correct that McLaren needed to be penalized for accepting the data offered by Nigel Stepney. What surprised me is that Ferrari never got penalized for Stepney's inappropriate behaviour.

  • @TheColinChapman Race conditions were improving so it was more logical that their times would improve not drop dramatically.

  • @MartinezMKD do you have the lap time protocol available? I have. Almost everybody's last lap was slower than their penultimate lap, inclusing Hamilton's, and Lewis for sure did not slow down on purpose. th rain itself was drecreasing, but the accumulated amount of water on the track was still increasing.

  • something was broken, no matter how much wheel he put in to it, it just kept going straight. front wheels never moved.

  • cmom timo , release your hands of the wheel, man , first lesson

  • RETARDS...YOU NEVER CAN SEE THE WHEELS TURN ON THESE CARS...He pushed it a little too wide, and I don't care how good of a pilot you are, once an F1 car gets in the grass at 150+ MPH there's nothing anyone can do but hope and pray!

  • he was at a point where he accelarates out of a slow corner and every1 stays on the inside line and they can easily go thru this corner without a problem. well, if sth on ur car isn't working, the car gets uncontrolable (here, doesn't steer correctly). you see how much he steers into the corner and the car keeps driving straight. and btw, you can usually see them moving on the tv-cam;)

  • @LewisSoTranscendent

You can always see the wheels turn.

  • his last meters with a Toyota F1 car...

  • haha yeah, funny to think that his last drive with toyota ended in a wall with a partially fractured spine

  • I think he hates Allianz

  • @nederlandsepizza

I dont think so , because it saves her life :)

  • omfg!!!! when he crashes there are blood!!!

  • its the water

  • nasty one, we'll see him again with a renault next year I think. Kamui Kobayashi did a good job.

  • wtf u fool lol

  • @nicolas7910 You uh, you need to get a grip mate. They put a barcode there - and indeed, have done since the start of the 90's - because they have to put something and the barcode is similar enough to the angular nature of the Marlboro logo. They don't pay out tens of millions of dollars in sponsorship to paint the cars red, you moron.

  • sorry for being rude, but - are you nuts? you probably also think that the moon landings were a fake, don't you? Maybe Toyota have liked to give the place to Kobayashi, but by NO MEANS they would expose one of their drivers by intention to the risk of dying in their car. Timo was lucky to survive. Imagine the media echo if Timo had died in a Toyota!

  • omg how fucking paranoid are you?

  • If you look at it, at one point the steering wheel is turned 90 degres and the actual wheel did not turn.

  • horrible ! davoir la direction cassé..

  • The steering was borked.

  • was this in the race, or was in practice, qualifying sessions. did timo have nay injuries.

  • Oh my God!!

I hope that he will stay well soon.

However i hate Timo because last year has helped Hamilton for win the championship...

W Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonsoooooo

  • dobrý!

  • O.M.G !! what a sound !

  • owneeeed: D

  • Big shunt! timo is a lucky guy

  • Chewbacca For President !!!!

  • you know what fake is?

when you crash into a wall on a F1 game in that angle, only the front wing goes of and you are able to keep driving..

    wtf?

  • Well in F1 games the cars are ermmm much stronger then real F1 cars.

  • true

they shoult make that more realistic

  • gott sei dank ist ihm nichts weiter schlimmes passiert. noch vor ein paar jahren wäre er da nicht lebend rausgekommen :(

  • allianz versichert?

  • auch RIP

  • a robert mimo ze mu nie wyszly kwalifikacje ma 7. miejsce startowe:) lepiej by bylo gdzyby "kolega" z zespolu takze spadl no ale coz...

  • oh, my god. "¡¡que te mejores!!"

    Rafa, from Spain

  • que tiene al final?

  • un corte de 5 cm, nada grave. pero no ha podido correr hoy

  • gracias

  • this is in no way similar..?

  • I suppose, the steering was broken. as you can see, the front wheels don't follow his sterring wheel position. best wishes, timo!!

  • guess so, just like what happened to senna.

  • Yeah, his right wheel appears to be still turning left when he applies more and more right lock.

Nasty accident, hope Timo recovers well!

  • Holy shit, you're right!

But how can something like this happen???

  • "Mechnically it was not a problem, nothing went wrong. I just made a mistake and misjudged the corner," he told reporters.

"I just misjudged the last corner and oversteered out of the chicane and then I just tried to let the car go to take as much speed as possible out of the corner.

"You cannot really see the corner ... From my side I was sure I was 50 centimetres to a metre to the right and then suddenly I saw that was not going to work out and tried to steer back ... and I crashed."

  • yes he said. he's okay. now we hope sebi will make a good race in two weeks.

  • Tha fact that this was the story Timo told the press does not necessarily mean that this was the truth. It is plain to see that The front wheels do not follow the steering wheel. My notion is that Timo wanted to keep his Team out of the media echo, knowing that one more bit of bad news could bring Toyota to the point of leaving F1 racing.

  • Yeap i recon your right on that one. because when i saw this crash the first thing i said was the steering broke. and u can see the wheels. I belive it would have caused big issuses if u ask me it looks like sennas crash.

  • No he was exiting the corner and he just kept pushing wider and wider until he is in the grass/gravel. It is pilot error.

  • @realSteak86

there wasn't nothing broken he just made a look into LCD in steering wheel to see his split time and forgot to turn...

  • @realSteak86 steering wasnt broken

  • lenkstange gebrochen

  • no wayyy different

  • what a qualyfing! 3 red flags!

  • he dont know that he most get heands out the wheel?

  • Horrible :S
