  • Way ahead of the Aussie curve

  • i miss my brother loads, tru-phucking tallent, if he was on the decks, my crew would rule the floor, good times at the "Lexi" ,but particularly the Alarm and Rythem Zone,in 89/90 we used to come down from toowoomba and rule bris dance floors thanx to Angus, his sratch rythem was music to my feet and i dont know anyone else who could keep up and even help with direction of his flow.with this in common we became truly good friends- even after i move to WA (end of 1990) Heaven must be pumping

  • Rip Angus, Thanx for all the good times, Peace!

  • Legend.

  • Huge thanks for upping this! Thats a very young me in the background in my early days DJing, The other guy/DJ is Steve Edwards who also passed away much to young...... Few points, It is at "Lexington Queen" in Brisbane, not long after the renovation and name change from "Hot Gossip" & Yes Angus was a standout that night but so was another young legend, Katch. The judges struggled to split them... Massive respect for them both, they showed that Brisbane had talent! Cheers

  • Angus was massive in Bris Vegas. I remember him from the early 90's. Without disrespect, what happened to him?

  • Angus!!! dude some mad memories what a legend!

eternal hall of fame for you mate, RIP BRIBE

  • Hi thirdbourne, the place was Hot Gossip which later became Lexington Queen which is now (correct me if im wrong anyone) Showgirls. It is situation on the Albert St leg of the Queen St Mall area. The entrance sitll looks exactly the same as it did then.

  • It was actually somewhere down the Gold Coast, can't remember the name off hand right now, but I'll find out. Looked like Hot Gossip tho....

  • @youpants1 Yeah i mixed there once. As soon as i saw the reel to reel in the background i knew it was Hot Gossip. ha! RIP Angus!

  • That was amazing! I wish I could do that O_o. Same name, haha, thats cool.

  • Angus my brother,

I will remember the first lesson you taught me is that this hip hop thing is all about family and unity the lost elements...

I remember the all night conversation on the phone coverin all the breaks, only to get the wakeup call a few hours later to do the shoutout to the radio station in the U.S. you were down with. ALL CITY R.I.P. BRIBE

  • RIP Angus. I remember you back in the mid 80s when you were breakdancing like myself. You could do awesome headspins in those days. Also, when I bought vinyl every week from central Station records when it was in Fort. Valley, I'd see you & Remo in there with Andrew the manager.

    Rest in peace my brother.
