  • This is ex GBL 5544 which was the last of Green Lines original order of Orion V's. 5982-5987 ex GBL 5545-5550 were ex Queens Surface 700-705.

  • The MTA really didnt take care of these buses, dont get me wrong i love the '97 WMATA Rejects

  • Blame Green Lines, but JFK's bus depot isnt that great at maintaining buses either

  • what is it ur job to post videos of buses or something

  • some people like the sound of buses. that's why he posts these videos

  • o ok then

  • its a bus..

  • and?

  • Wow this sounds just like the Series 50 Gilliig Phantoms. Detroit Diesel Power Forever!!!

  • henrythebusguy, your comment is incorrect. This picture you see is the MTA's 1997 Orion V bus that has the Detroit Diesel Series 50 engine with the Allison Automatic B400R transmision. The 8V71 engine and the 8V92TA is NOT compatiable for any Orion buses especially Orion V (5) bus because it's too big and has too much power. But I know you're making a slight reference to the RTS buses though...
