@ashkanmosavi In 2006 they used V8s, with the exception of Toro Rosso (formerly Minardi). Try reading this: wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/2006_Formula_One_season
damn, if this car had not been as unreliable as it was, i think that both nico and mark could have gotten their first wins with this car because it was such a good car. i think that i could have contended for the championship.
Wow the car is stable, but just look at how it understeers... The chichane after the tunnel normally takes around 110 degrees of steering, but Nico had to make a 170 degrees steer.. Ok maybe he took a bit too much speed, but anyway, an understeer is obvious.. Nice Cosworth engines btw.
@MrMotorsportsFanatic Those 2.4 V8´s back then had no rpm restrictions. They were reving at almost 20.000 rpms. Pretty impressive!. Awesome sound indeed :)
That was a real F1 sound! Give us back the good old engines!

I think Monaco is the only circuit where the onboard camera gives you a real sense of the car's acceleration.
foxtrotalphaone 1 year ago
@foxtrotalphaone i think spa does that to because of all the elevation changes giving new reference points

I love the sound 20000 rpm! But sadly, the FIA will never listen to the fans of F1.

@Tuscopa over 20,000 in the case of Cosworth (20002 to be exact), and later the Mercedes (and maybe even Ferrari) by the end of the season.
