Well like I said before I dont know this lady but considering that this is a remix I doubt if it was the same lady.....It seems the producer has lifted the vocals and put it on a diffrent riddim section...thus blending the jazzy or motown vocals to a reggae beat.....Not bad at all

thats the thing see... there was something different about that version of bestfriends boyfriend... it sounded as tho it was never sang for a reggea track much like this.... thats why i was asking if you ever heard that version... and much like this remix.. the bestfriends boyfriend was remixed flawlessly...
