  • @x0kamix

    ,

the second one is the promotional wallpaper from Diablo3, you can DL it from it's official site, dunno about the others.

  • @x0kamix wall(dot)alphacoders(dot)com <----- all you need should be somewhere there.

  • @x0kamix second is from diablo3 page

  • wow

  • This really makes me think of Basil Poledouris' work on the Conan soundtrack.

  • when i was a kid playing icewind dale 2 i used to wander the whole town level just to listen to this, this music shows that sometimes videogames can be works of art.

  • @novato455 The music is a huge aspect of games whether people notice it or not.

  • @novato455

They are supposed to be works of art. Say hello to commercialism, though. You rarely see a masterpiece of a game that you can relate to as "art".

  • @Areyth minecraft is one mate, this game can be related as art most of the critics says it.

  • @novato455 Minecraft is good, but under no circumstances is it a form of gaming art.

  • @CookieEuropean what about "planescape torment" ;)

  • Are you sure it was Inon Zur? (by the way I already saw three spellings of his first name, Inon, Anon, Anan) Also is it Inon Zur for sure? I know Icewind Dale 1 is Jeremy Soule, this sounds very similar.

  • lol You know a song is good when people want it linked with their deaths.

  • Inspired by Conan's soundtrack.

  • Can I have this played in my funeral? ;_;

  • Wenn ich das höre wird mir irgendwie die Schönheit unseres Planeten bewusst und das wir diese zerstören.

  • niceeeee

  • coooooooooooooool

  • uiuryiryuiyiuruyiui

  • Frankly the town of Targos isn't worthy of this song.

  • Inon Zur is my second favourite composer, next to Nobuo Uematsu who did the final fantasy music.

  • Came here from arcanum main theme video, now i think Icewind Dale deserves to be played, and this song is one of many reasons :)

  • I like Saradush more

  • is this song from some RPG game?

  • @sallee132 icewind dale 2

  • @MrChendal ty =)

  • @sallee132

at gog (dot)com you can download the game and this version has no problem with the new windows systems e.g. win7 64 bit

  • Lo mejor del Icewind siempre fue la música.

  • Beautiful. Definitely adding this one to my "Dreams" playlist ;) If you guys want more beautiful game music, check out "Hunter's Village" and "Shepherd's Flute" from the Lineage 2 OST. LOVE GAME MUSIC. Although Jeremy Soule is probs my personal fav :)

  • "Man makes music, music makes the man"

  • @Almaskakas12 More "likes" for this comment - please

  • IF YOU LIKE BEATS LIKE THIS

    UTUBE- THE BEAT MAKER OSIIRUS

    THANK YOU ...

  • This, and the soundtrack to Dragon Age: Origins, officiclly make Inon Zur the most underated composer around today. I mean, he can obviously do some really great soundtracks and songs (I Am The One. That song is beyond beautiful), so why is he stuck with video games instead of mives?

Oh well, their loss is our gain.

  • @FlyingFocs "Stuck with"? Why? Games are a powerfull media for storytelling and artwork. There are many great writers, artists, voice actors, animators and musicians in the gaming industry. I think it just shows how important the industry has become. It does make a LOT more money than Hollywood, you know? There's nothing wrong or demeaning about working in games, and I think guys like Inon Zur know this very well. I'd even risk saying there's more art in games nowadays than in movies...

  • @ChStapeler I understand, and I didn't mean to offend. I just think that movies, while not as good as some games *cough* Dragon Age 1 *cough* are a more widespread and accepted media, so he could gain more recognition. I'm not saying he doesn't with his work in games, however. I don't mean to bash games at all. I love them just as much as film. Just wanted to make that clear, if there was any misunderstanding.

  • @FlyingFocs Oh, no offense! don't worry. I was just trying to give add a different perspective. Maybe I was a tad picky with your words...lol I do agree with you.

  • does this sound abit like the music and the type of ambiance and feel from the film Princess Mononoke the frail to anyone?

  • the images and music offer an escape of reality

  • This is really beautiful music that I could listen all day, every day.

  • Nice but sad song

  • u.u :´( ta cabrona!!! :´(

  • One of the best RPG soundtracks ever. Love it.

  • In order to loop this song you just need to go to tubereplay.c om/ and enter the video url in the text box. Happy listening!

  • ahhh peaceful

  • Icewind Dale games are sooo underrated... Fuck that, people don`t know what they are missing. They don`t see what I see... A masterpiece!

  • Isnt it Jeremy Soule ?

  • Oh my goodness, this is amazing!!! How do you get this song?!?

...Sorry, I just find it incredibly amazing.

  • @33HisBeloved Just play the game (Icewind Dale 2)

  • nice n lovely song

  • Inon Zur FTW

  • Ice windDale II! =D

Ice winddale and Baldur's gate for the wins! <3

  • I just came here to hear this song, after hard night in work... i putted my headphones... and when music goes i felt like struked by electricity, and tears showed in my eyes. metaphysical experience...

  • on the start of the song i get the feeling that everything i had was gone and completely lost. then later on 0:20

it still gived me hope to find a other way to live.

you always find hope inside of smiles that people you love and you care about. they will always be there for you no matter what so stay stronge!! this is really a BEAUTIFUL SONG!!!

  • A great song from a great game, man they sure don't make them like they used to anymore....

You know what i'm gonna reinstall IWD2 and give it a playthrough, for old times sake, thanks for uploading this.

  • @Marsproject11 Yea I used to play this when I was little and I played it again to finally finish it through, you'll enjoy every bit of it.

  • I will never forget the first time I played this game, true art

  • wow i love this. It's a shame they never an Icewind Dale 3, to bring back the original hack and slash routes

  • Beautiful. It greatly reminds me of the theme from Miyazaki's "Mononoke Hime"

  • great song, too bad the game sucked

  • I also like the Manaan city soundtrack for KOTOR, nostalgic

  • Wow! Some of the most beautiful music can be found in some of the most unlikely places. That was wonderful!

  • 2nd image is diablo 3

  • One word to descride this. simply. amazing.

  • .. im crying...

  • @ikolocol pussy whimp lol

  • 22 people had the beauty crushed out of their childhoods.

  • Hey can you tell us where you found the screenshots from, I really like them.

  • Meh. It's alright.

  • i love it its feels so fantasy

  • why don't they use artists like this for movies instead of stuff like paramore -_-?

  • Comment removed

  • What is the name of this game?

  • It's nearly nine years since I played it and I can't remember a single thing about the plot of Icewind Dale 2, but I can remember walking around Targos Town listening to this music.

    Thanks for uploading.

  • I can see ICE WIND DALE corverd in snow.

  • I dont like to count the stupids dislikers... but they should be really idiots to do that on this vid... the soung is just amazing

  • And when i playing with this musisc.. i can fell the adventure... the journey.. these old games like icewind dale or neverwinter, baldurs gate,, i will remember this whole my life..

  • i just cant stop listening it! and i hope im living in those pictures! what a beautiful and its like im a forest fairy and im the one only there dancing with this wonderful music

  • i swear i have heard this from a studio chilbi film....i cant remember which one though,

  • @/EngbergTheSwede totally agree, but 2 seconds dont matter so much :pp

  • 22 people just listened to jeremy soule's music

  • @klebehss I see no reason why people who listen to Jeremy Soule would dislike this very nice piece of music.

  • @MrNagelfar because jeremy soule's musci sounds better than this.. waaaaay better

  • @klebehss Agreed, I too, prefer Jeremy Soule but still....Inon Zur has an unique style of composing, It´s not bad to hear some of his work. :)

  • Make me remember The twelve kingdom....

  • ha, first 2 seconds sounds like evanesence

  • @EngbergTheSwede nice troll

  • Wow, this is beautiful~

  • favourite

  • indeed my favourite song and "Rubina Sky Happiness" also very positive song. I wish to hear more that kind of Art Music in my live, instead of pop-easy listening crap.

  • For those missing the game this music came from you can find through Stardock's Impulse for 9.99.

  • That Moon is awfully close?!

  • @Goldfish176 that is a kind of beautifulness

  • @dendelionnum1 LOl yeahhhh :)

  • @xxAliceAxx ok

  • You r a deep person

  • lovely song, gave me the chills!

  • listen> /watch?v=E8hqAB_CVrI

  • how can you dislike songs that are amazing?

  • This is not really the best song.....

  • @JasmineYuan7 well there isnt a best song in the world,to some people it might be the best,to others it may not,its all about your own opinion

there will never be a best song ever because not everybody can agree on one song,we are all different with different opinions ^_^

  • @sonicraybum that's true...

  • i think he's gone down hill since then

  • I know it may seem... distasteful to reference personal favorites, but check out Joe Satriani's "Rubina" live (written for, and to his wife) here on the tub.

Also, what can I hear that sounds similar to Targos Town?

  • @trezuraat Try searching for a track called Saradush here on YT. I'd recommend checking out the whole BG 2 soundtrack. Some other SRs that I also found great are Disciples 2 OST and NWN.

  • @Rundra good call the "Saradush" track. As complicated as it had to be: slow and definitive at the front, working to a loud crescendo. Cool tunes!

  • @trezuraat inon zur- neron

  • @trezuraat uuuuuuuuh dude, satch's rubina live in sf is one f the most beautiful songs ive heard in my whole life, exellent choice man, its nice to know that there r people who likes this music (Y)

    good luck bro

  • 0:53 <-- i always have goosebumps on my back .. magnificent

  • I remember the goblin attack on the city where you had to help soldiers defend it. And than you went to the den of goblins to revenge.

  • This was composed by Inon Zur. He has composed MANY themes and songs for pc games. Listen to some of them here: inonzur(dot)com/music Please thumbs up so others can read this!

  • @KingBGod i think he was doing the Throne of Bhaal themes too !

  • @Aelkamal Amongst others too yes. He's got a real talent.

  • @KingBGod Inon Zur is one of greatest composers ever, but Jeremy Soule is 10 better then him

  • @KingBGod That motherfucker is a GENIUS. He was born to make gamers dream of adventures, of misty mountains, of caves, ruins, wilderness and forests, of bearing a sword and not a controller, of slaying monsters and righting wrongs.

  • @TomeOfBattle dont forget it was jeremy soule who made the track for 1!

  • @TomeOfBattle Have you thought that maybe we ARE meant to be doing those things, its in our blood to crave adventure and to seek righteousness and knowledge in the bloodshed of our enemies? Maybe the games are here to prevent us from doing it. Only an intelligence as mighty as the great conspirators of our time could understand that you could never entirely turn off human instinct, but you can cage it while its potency dwindles.

All men want to be the main character, thus murder would ensue.

  • T.T "Perfect...they are All.....Perfect"

  • it`s just a sad melady

  • @Semba1000 Malady? A malaise perhaps? How so?

    xD

  • 0:38 - 0:52 = Totally epic

  • Could you post up a looped version of this song? Looped 5 or 6 times? Thumbs up if you agree (and excuse the request for thumbs).

  • @mit181 Very well, I will consider it. Sorry for the late reply.

  • @Rundra ever heard of x-ray dog; if u like this kind of music then u´ll find a new world; start with "voices of glory" or " intrigue" to get an idea

  • @Syntaxerror811 Yeah, I know of X-Ray Dog and many similiar groups, like Two Steps From Hell, Epic Score etc etc. Personally, I think that Basil Poledouris has made music that cater closer to this piece.

  • @mit181 put it in ur watch later list and auto play it and it will look endlessly :)

  • @mit181 dont worry i will do it, coming up

  • @mit181 Just search for youtube replay option, its an addon that will just automaticly loop the video once its finished, its great for listening to these short songs.

  • @mit181 To loop any song on this site you can use YouTube repeat! Simply type "repeat" in the address bar between the word YouTube and the dot com. It works for any YouTube video. Spread the word. It's awesome!

  • Jeremy Soule is truly a genius of modern classical music. Was this song also in Icewind Dale II? Because it sound familiar.

  • @Andarthiel I don't think Jeremy Soule did the music in the second, only in the expansion pack. I believe he won 2 awards for this games sound track

  • @Andarthiel it's Inon Zur music in this part, but Soule imo is the best.

  • gr8 job :D

  • That damn good !

  • Omg... This is Beautiful <3

  • this song really took me to the world in early 80's when suffering was suffering, love was love and song was a song with a soul..wish there would be a time again!....

  • The pictures make me think of Easthaven, from the first game more than Targos.

  • Wow, wish my band at school would play this songs like this. I'm sick of all the jazz music we place for concert band! :(

  • What a great and inspiring music! Generally, the game soundtracks are inferior to none of usual or classical music, even better then them!

  • Epic music for an epic game

  • somehow came across this video... will now be getting this game.

  • @tcfrombn the Baldur's gate series is better. Icewind Dale 1 and 2 focus more on hack and slash and less on story. Also despite being a decade old BG has a very dedicated fanbase that is still putting out mods. Everything from item mods to extra npcs to fixpacks. If you want the address of some of them just pm me.

  • anyone who liked this song has got to also hear this

"jack 3 credits music full rip no cut" and skip to 3:05 on there its the most beautiful song ever

  • If you like the music then I recommend you play the game. You can buy through Star Docks Impalse for 10 bucks. It's while worth buying and the story will keep your attention.

  • What a beautiful song, reminds me when i was a child playing icewind dale with my dwarven group

Anyone would like to play nwn 1 online (yeah i know we are in 2010 but..:D)

  • how is a graveyard preety?

  • the graphic is substandard, but the gameplay is superb.

  • the graphic is substandard, but the gameplay is superb.

  • What to say? Yes yes... What to say? There are things that you can't describe, and this is one of these tings. Wonderful, a masterpiece, unbeatable. Always and forever.

  • let every man hear this song in this world. and there will be no more war.

  • 21 people are fucking retarded Jehovah's Witnesses who deserve to have their worthless heads smashed in.

  • @MrOpenGamer Im a Jehovahs witness and I like this song thank you very much,

  • @Sulu4Shantelle

You mean you're actually one of those annoying fuckers who go round knocking on doors demanding that people fallow your retarded version of Christianity? Hahaha, worthless cunts like you are good for nothing more than getting doors slammed in your face or getting plain lied to. Fucking evangelical dipshits. Even most Christians hate your pathetic rabble and your literal interpretation of the Bible's old-testament mythology. You're pathetic.

  • @MrOpenGamer As opposed to the superiority of someone who bashes someone on the internet? I dislike zealots and religion as much as the next guy, but you're just as much forcing your opinion upon us as them with your comment. And words like 'fuckers', 'retarted' etc in every sentence does not make you come across any tougher, it makes you look stupid. I actually AGREE with your opinion here but why attempt to turn something totally unrelated into a religious discussion? Know what context is?

  • @rachskald

It's hard to be accepting of a cult when every single one of them you meet is knocking at your door spewing what any level of logic can see as nonsensical. I don't mind religious people, it's the fanatics like JWs who I have a problem with.

  • @MrOpenGamer lol:D

  • Was quite a nice game, however the biggest flaw in my opinion was that you could create all characters on your own, which means that there was no interaction between your characters like in bg 1 & 2. Aside from that it was great.

  • Icewind Dale 2??? I know this song from Neverwinter Nights...

  • @Warriorcat07 It was never in NWN...I wish it had been though. NWN's music was...Well...Kind of boring.

  • @ZaerTheDraconian NWN has a select few pieces that are actually good, they're played quietly so you hardly notice them in the back. Try listening to forest night track or frozen hell, those two are among my favourites.

  • @Rundra That's true!

  • ALRIGHT!!! ICEWIND DALE 2!!!

I love how many comments there are. This was made by the people who made Dragon Age: Origins but this is a game back in I think 2002. check it out.

  • is this even a song? :L

  • 21 passed over while trying to drink the half orc merchant boar brew.

  • i just got icewind dale after hearing this!! xD

  • Icewind Dale is the game with the best soundtrack ever
