Fabian, I agree with you. How many people in life can recognize and appreciate quality? Very few! We are lucky enough to be gifted to taste real jazz and improvise to it. That in and of itself is a treasure few of the masses will ever be able to relate to. Good luck with your music Fabian. You inspire me.
I am amazed at how few people appreciate this incredible playing by Fabian Daurat. As of today, 12/19/2011, there are 789 views. Only 7 likes! What's up? This is REAL music!!! Give the guy a confidence vote. This is not an easy song to improvise to.
There is nothing surprising in my opinion, to the fact that this kind of video is not likely to reach numerous people. There are more talented jazz guitar players than people likely to be interested by them. None of my fellows have better success than me.
The song is difficult to improvise on, but who cares? Music speaks to guts, or doesn't say anything. Jazz a complex language, few people are lucky enough to taste it.
@pleximanic Man, I've been struggling with music, with the guitar for 20 years, including about 15 full time, and it's still a challenge to go along with the infinite land of what I can't do, what I can't play, what I can't hear. There is no destination, just a trip. All we have to do, is try to make it sweet. The hardest thing in the world.
Hey Fabian, Great playing! Lots of success to you! Greetz herbie
