  • when the horse got a fright at the end that is what my 4 yar old cob does when i try to walk him to the field.does anyone know how i can stop him and get him to walk nicely?

  • hahah we have to mares that have alot of spunk like that lol exept ares do that under saddle aswell!! :p

  • I hear ya...her antics under saddle landed me in the hospital this summer...it's my most recent Clue video.

  • ha ha hope she doesn't do that with you on her!!

  • Now and then, she does if she's wound up. In fact, I fractured my fibia July 14 in a Clue-related incident...more on that soon. :-P

  • Both of them. I've had Clue longer.

  • So cute and beautiful horse =] She looks like shes enjoying herself!

  • Thank you! She's adored bucking since she was 2. She's just a very bouncy kind of horse. :)

  • she's a cutiiiee[:

    just crazzyy !

    hahaha.

  • Haha, sounds like a fair assessment! :)

  • hahah.

shes a really cute mover thoughh[=

  • lol thats a cool video,...she seams that she had a really good time hehe!!!

  • Yeah, when she has lots of energy, she's reminiscent of a grasshopper. :)

  • My horse does this on the lunge and shes 21 years old haha ! she loves to stretch herself out !!! But know one is usually there to film it cause its first thing in the morning.I thought it was handled really good =D bless :)

  • Thank you! Wow, it's awesome to hear your horses is in its twenties and still so energetic! :) That just points to your excellent care for her.

  • loving the arab impression! :L its nice to see them like this sometimes, when they just have so much eneergy to let off, but obviously not if theyre in pain or being ridden at the time.. :L

gorgeous video, she's so pretty !

  • Thank you! :) She was just having a phenomenal time putting on a show.

  • Your switching horses?

  • ? This is my other horse (actually, my first horse) Clue. I have two (Duncan and Clue).

  • XD Somebody's havin fun. She must really enjoy herself. lol

  • I think she's disappointed that she'll never get to fulfill her dream of being a bronc... :)

  • XD Certainly looks like thats what she's trying to do.

  • Haha

  • She looks great...and happy! It's actually comforting to know that I'm not the only one with an "energetic" 6 year old. Donato pulled me across the arena Wednesday while I was lunging him.

  • Yeah, I was pretty sure the one buck (the one where the camera kind of went blurry) pulled my shoulder out of its socket--I've lunged all manner of crazy horses, and she's the only one who's ALMOST made me fall over....almost. :)

  • woah LOL she feels good!!!! haha love it

  • Thanks :)

  • I'm so glad to see that Clue is doing well. My old lease mare foundered and was saved from an inevitable death through some hard work from myself and the lady who owned her. Unfortunately I was unable to continue riding her.

  • I'm so sorry to hear that; the laminitis statistics were definitely not in our favor, but I've always got my fingers crossed that we'll keep moving forward.

  • The horse's name was Morgan, and although I was unable to continue riding her (mainly because after she was no longer able to be ridden I began leasing the horse I own now) she is now rideable and for sale. I wish I could buy her but I can't afford two horses right now. However she has made a full recovery after foundering in all four feet at the same time.

  • Wow, all four feet?! That's great that she made a recovery from that! Thanks for clarifying about the situation. :)

  • The good thing is that I get to go see her whenever I want, I've just been so busy lately that I haven't gotten to.

She had gotten pneumonia and the fever cause all four bones to rotate. :(

  • Wow, that's crazy. I didn't know pneumonia could cause founder.

  • It wasn't the pneumonia exactly, but the fever from the pneumonia that cause it.

  • Haha, that definitely was abnormal bucking! Good idea removing the saddle...it's just too bad it didn't work! She looks great, and apparently feels great too!

  • Yeah, I mean, even if you see some of her free lunging footage, she LOVES to buck, and it's not unusual for her to do a string of ten good ones in a row...but typically with a saddle on she'll let five or six big ones go, but with some actual TROT or CANTER in between, lol. I figured it couldn't hurt to check if the saddle was pinching, but clearly I was wrong!

  • What a cutie, shes looking fabulous !

It was cute, at the end she was like so .. how'd i look mommy >:)

  • Hahaha

  • wow, my horse does that sometimes only he will be perfect and lazy on the lunge, then he will go crazy as soon as your on him, lol, my friend just walked in and watched this and she was like, damn that mare was pissed! funny, and her arabian impersonation is quite good. lol

  • Haha! The whole problem is, she's getting her stamina back. Before she foundered, this is horse who had regular work and STILL had massive amounts of energy to spare. You can imagine how a few short lunging sessions and one ride/week ain't cuttin' it right now. :)

  • lol yeah, i can tell she has a lot of energy, good luck with her, she is absolutely stunning though

  • Thank you! :)

  • wow that mare can buck lol!! i can see she is having no problems with her feet lol :).... glad to see she is doing so well :)

  • Thanks! :)

  • aw such a beautiful horse, you should have let her loose

  • Check out some of my loose lunging footage of her...there's not a whole lot of difference, lol. :)

  • aaw, clue looks so cute wen she bucks lol XD

  • She's the only horse that ever almost knocked me unconscious with her bucking, back when she was 3. I think she wants to go pro.

  • ooooo ouch! Pro - on no!

  • looks like someone's enjoying herself! XD

  • By the way. Look at that full set of manes and that thick tail. I bet youre glad its all starting to grow stronger now finally at last.

  • I just feel like going shes baaaaaaaaaaaaack. Im glad you were both feeling alright. I got run over myself this weekend so i guess i dint have the luck you did.

  • WOO! I can see why you didn't fancy riding :D They were some BIG bucks and yes her Arabian impersonation is pretty darn good :D and that spook at the end! I thought for one moment we'd be watching you go stomach surfing :D

  • Haha, I was pretty darn convinced I would be, too! :-P

  • Whoa, Clue is doing GREAT!!! Is she on something? Lol, like sweet-feed or 4-way? Nah, just must be a excited spring energy! She is doing so well, and when I saw those bucks I was like "Whoa." Lol.

5 stars, great video, love the song.. What song is it?

  • Nah, this is just her getting down with her bad self! :) It's a song by Amber Pacific...I think it might be You're Only Young Once.

  • haha, my 6 year old has been like this too! glad to see her feeling good!

  • 6 year old happy feet! Perhaps it's contagious! :)

  • You have such amazing horses!

    i love Clue.

    Shes such a beauty.

  • Thanks! :)

  • im so glad that she's feeling better :)

  • Me too! Thank you!

  • Oh I see. haha I saw you almost went smush! Good thing you didnt and she stopped lol.

  • Your horse is certifiable; however, that is why we love her. :)

  • This just goes to show that WE'RE certifiable. :)

  • whatta smartie haha, good call mel she was on a high one tonight(: she looks happy though, maybe she's feeling a little victorious?

  • That's quite possible! :)

  • Woah! I would have been alarmed by all the bucking as well hahah :) I'm glad it was nothing serious - and i definitely agree that it's an awesome indicator of how well she's feeling! I'm sure it still makes you a little nervous though that she'll hurt herself.(?) I didn't realized that she had been cleared to do so much work on the lunge - that's so great! She is looking sooo great!

  • I spent most of this lunging session trying to slow her down, but obviously without success. I get worried when she does those stiff-legged landings sometimes from some of her more impressive leaps, but then she goes ahead and does five or six more. She really is a horse in need of a plastic bubble to live in; then again, she'd probably still find a way to get into trouble!

  • Hahah yeah - well obviously there's only so much you can do. Most of the time our horses are the best judge of what they're feeling up to doing. But it is definitely hard when you feel out of control and they look like they're just going to get hurt haha. I freak out when my horse gets crazy in the turn out - and he's not dealing with past injuries haha.

  • Clue's Arabian impression is soo cute.. haha yeahh I wouldnt climb aborde either. good thing you lunged first = )

  • Haha, thank you!

  • What did she spook at? at the end when you guys were leaving.. hah I just saw that.. blondee.. lol

  • A loud "bang" that came from the feed room...I have no idea what it was, but I almost went smush because of it!

  • haha...she looked like she was having waaayy too much fun for lunging!!

    shes cute!! (she right?)

  • Yup, it's a she! Thank you :)

  • haha!!!

  • What a character!

  • haha cute!

  • omg lol cute horse thoughlove the green boots

  • wow!! lol shes really fresh :P

  • Fresh, or bipolar perhaps? hehe :)

  • hahaha [: but shes soo cute :D
