I love topgear and this was entertaining but if you look and listen closely you'll see a few flaws.

Firstly...

From 5:30 - 5.34 you can hear the real 1.3 litre 4 cylinder engine

Then at 5:58 suddnely it's turned into a charging V8?

Actually sounds gruntier than the supercharged 4.2 V8 rangerovers....WOW

Secondly..

The fox pee trailing thing falls off around halfway and gets re attached just before the end....how did the dogs keep scent for all that time when it was off?

I don't know about the sound issue, whether they loop some audio afterwards like most shows or not. But the lure is definately still on it at that point, it's just a little harder to see because it's tangled up in the towbar - if you look carefully before he hits the water you can see it looped round it.

I'm really digging that Daihatsu. Makes me wish they sold them in the US. For a 1.5 it handled alot of that sludge quite well. Sort of smaller than a Tracker, but bigger than a Samurai/1st gen Sportage. And, it actually had some rough and tumble to it. Like it or not, not EVERYONE wants a Hummer, but an econo off roader that isn't a glorified stationwagon. Pretty sharp little 'ute
