What a waste of money! Global warming can not be reversed and in 75 to 100 years more then half of Florida will be under water anyway.
The Everglades is going to be alot bigger then what people think. At the FL, GA state line there will be a sign "Welcome to the Everglades" So all the budget cutbacks in the state that take affect July 1, 2008 was for this?

Do they know how many jobs were lost?? Teachers, Cops, Firemen, EMS, state workers........For this???
Whatever the farmers were doing in the last 10 years to clean the Everglades was working.
The water is cleaner now, then it was 50 years ago.
This should have been a something the people of Florida voted on.After all it is being purchased by the tax payers money. We the people should have a "say so" on a deal this big.
