Oh god how I love Siouxsie, The Banshees are one of my favorite bands ever. I fucking hate my generations crap music it's just so stupid. I can't believe one hell of alot people my age actually listen to that plastic no-talent shit. I wish I was a teenager in the 80's so I could see The Banshees play and other great bands :/ If someone has a working timemachine feel free to contact me.

I completely agree with everything you wrote! I'm 15 and our generation of music is complete shit! The 80's was, without a doubt, the best decade of music. I too wish I could've seen Siouxsie live back then. Let's build a time machine together, hehe.

I may have been born in '86 but thanks to her being a teenager by then already I had constant streams of Siouxsie, The Cure & RATM blaring, and even Nirvana, Sound Garden & Pearl Jam as I got older. I thank her every day for giving me excellent taste in music :)

This is from a time were music was MUSIC. not just the same 4 notes over and over, and the same 2 lines over and over about how pretty ur f**ing girlfriend is. But when they die, siouxsie, bowie, madness.... will their music die? I hope not. I love this stuff and I wish more people listened to it...

@minaroar I used 'frontman' deliberately, because by using that term it places her in the appropriate milieu I was looking for - the great front men. I wanted to emphasize her position alongside Jagger, Tyler, Cooper, Manson, and her own protege - Robert Smith, and then dare suggest she is easily their equal, and perhaps the best of the lot.
Using 'great front woman' would have negated that inference, IMO.

peepshow was one of my favorties after boomerang every song on that album had depth last dark album she did before she got a "makeover" and got kinda superficial sioxsee definatly has a beautiful unique voice and look that cant be easily matched.the sad reality is that sometimes good artists have to conform to todays trash in order to stay alive in the music industry

Her eyebrows were neat looking, her dark hair. Is there anyone here who has met her and talked with her? I would like to know how that turned out? She is amazing.
