  • She is beautiful

  • Pure Genius!!!

  • Siouxsie...my Queen! I'm yours <3

  • This is one of the best post punk bands ever. Really cool and genuine music!

  • This particular song is not very punk neither is much as Joan Jett yet many call her punk. I love Joan Jett as well.

  • @solwolfpunk post punk

  • @solwolfpunk I can't type. Sorry folks. Should have proof read this comment.

  • @solwolfpunk You were probably high.

  • @solwolfpunk Hey it's cool how you commented to yourself. I didn't know u could do that.

  • @bulgogi1212 Hey, I guess you can. That's pretty cool. Hey is this Siouxsie playing?

  • @solwolfpunk she is the queen of goth

  • ok she is pretty good and i love her song (and this is not punk rock) this is real rock but i still think the runaways and joan jett and the black heart were the best rock woman of the 70s

  • Best punk rock woman ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • la jarra loca xD

  • i would kiss the earth where she walks......literally

  • I wanna be like her when I grow up. .u.

  • what album is this on ?

  • siouxsie makes lady gaga look plain

  • these guys are boring as hell.i dont know why ppl kept suggesting them

  • @Lordinfamous1986 Are you on drugs or something? These guys are known, but to the mainstream pop culture. Before dissing out on this types of groups, do some research.

  • @Supersweetguy what in the hell are you even trying to say? i said they bore me and people kept tellin me to check em out.they just dont do it for me. and if i was on drugs maybe this shit might be slightly bearable

  • @Lordinfamous1986 bastard idiot

  • @eduardo5841 im allowed to think they suck.i have free will bitches

  • i love this song, all her stuff rocks but it is different, her paint is to die for

  • I first saw an image if her in 1976. Love at first sight, shortly thereafter I heard her music and have been hooked ever since. But Patti Smith is still #1 for me.

  • Love Bjork, but Siouxsie will always be my first love.

  • Comment removed

  • Didn't Winona Ryder copy her look for 'Beetlejuice' ?

  • @eartant I always thought so! She had that Siouxsie/Smith look down pat- but she was cute :) I mean, it's Winona Rider.... but yeah, Siouxsie is always the greatest.

  • @eartant i can see that

  • @eartant no

  • she's hot but my <3 belongs to Björk. I'm sure you can understand.

  • awesome Song!

  • Lord, how I was little wishing to grow up looking like Siouxsie.....

  • she is my idol.

  • Don't give up all hope, folks! There will always be an underground! You just have to keep digging for it!

  • Great song.

  • we need 23 killing jars! go siouxsie Sioux

  • @dudecicero yes & no, certainly good music does exist, but the issue isn't just that there's so much music out there, it's that the formulaic stuff's the only thing that gets proper playtime.

Generic, sure-fire money makers for were always pushed the hardest, but you could still flip through the channels and find Nitzer Ebb one up from Madonna. It's a lot harder to find good music now, it's still there certainly, but you've got to wade through a lot of crap to find it. That's what irks people

  • @badluckshadow13 The formulaic stuff has ALWAYS gotten the most airplay (hence the reason it's formulaic). The only Siouxsie "hit" that made the top 40 was Kiss Them For Me. I don't think it's music that's died but rather the record companies that carried bands financially. If you want to know why quality music seems inaccessible these days, look no further than partnered Itunes and the 99 cent singles download, which single handedly destroyed the concept of proper album/record forever

  • @ritter89 You're forgetting Peek-a-Boo. That made the top ten, didn't it?

  • the gag is that she can't stop thinkin of me can she? teach her something else to do but mess around with me.

  • @dudecicero

Sadly you are ignoring the fact that this generations eccentric female voice is not Siouxie Sioux but Lady Gaga. If it aint dying it is certain gangrenous.

  • @XthatsrightX - Every human endeavor, in my opinion, has its golden age and its dark age. I still do believe in human creativity (certainly in popular music) and that we will reach another era of creative prosperity once the filth people nowadays listen to is washed away into oblivion.

I have to believe it will because music is one of the very few human inventions I truly and unconditionally appreciate. If music becomes dead, then we might as well consider ourselves braindead.

  • @XthatsrightX: If by "this generation", you mean mainstream pop music, then you're right. However, there was mainstream pop in the 80s, too. To say that Lady Gaga (corporate puppet that she is) represents the epitome of "eccentric female vocalists" is insulting and short-sighted. Cast your net wider and broaden your horizons beyond the Top 40 and what's current.

  • @inphanta

You could be talking about a local band that plays weekends at the DAV friend. How wide do you want to cast that net?

  • @XthatsrightX: That's up to you. My point is that if you limit yourself to what's in the mainstream and choose not to look any further, then you have no cause to complain when you can't find any decent music. It's not that it isn't out there, you just haven't made a concerted effort to look for it. It's baffling to me how anyone in this age of the internet can say that they can't find ANY decent music out there. It's like someone with a car saying they can't go to the supermarket.

  • Meeting her was the one time I was totally speechless. I adore her.

  • This is a great song; I love it!

  • @NadaInterior I voted you down, because A) you're a thumbs-up whore, and B) that was wholly inappropriate.

  • @Sykoze

    Nah, youre a fucking faggot.

  • @NadaInterior My sexuality is not the issue here.

  • @NadaInterior may your hand be the constant reminder of your loneliness. That's a disgusting way to talk about another human being. My guess is you're single? And if not, then I feel really sorry for the poor woman putting up with your stupidity.

  • The likes of Aguilera, Spears and GaGa got NOTHIN' on Siouxsie Sioux!!! And I mean NOTHIN'!!!

  • great video, great singer

  • Siouxsie Sioux. One of my all-time heroines along with Kate Bush. Siouxsie's voice, her lyrics and her stunning, breathtaking looks are a much-needed antidote to all that bollocks we have to put up with. I'm so sick of seeing hypersexualised teenyboppers talking about big dicks and blah blah, ooh I'm horny, I have nothing else to say for myself other than I want you to wank to my album. Siouxsie was and is inspiring, original and incredible. I only wish we had more like her.

  • Needles and Sins

    Sins and Needles

I think i want that on my body

  • amazing :)

  • this woman is a LYRICAL GENIUS. even if you don't like her music you HAVE to appreciate the fact that she has sung about sooooo many diverse topics. I have converted people to Siouxsie lovers because of lyrics. from her career starting from what...the 70"s she had ceaslessly written music that was decent if not amazing. she has got to be the most understated musician of this era....probably by choice which is unfortunate because she is so talented.

  • Is this the other version?

  • @TheROCKapple I think so. My album version (old) is different. Less rushed.

  • beautiful and awesome

  • @SweetJaneofGoth keep it to the subject and who the hell wants to know about your sickening activities, you pig?

  • @SweetJaneofGoth Keep it to yourself. You are either trying to shock or are just lying. Why don't you try a sex forum?

  • @elleemann Like why don't you try a sex forum.

  • I've never crushed on her or even any of the Banshees, but I do admire her and think she's wonderful.

  • does anyone know what year this was released?

  • @lordlynchy 1988

  • @Daffneyfan cheers

  • What is this mix? This isn't the orginal album version.

  • I just want to know what siouxsie fan DOESN'T have a crush on her..because I haven't met or known one yet *sigh* I love this woman.

  • @Glowb0t Its not me. even the girl fans have crushes. I have been in love with this woman since I was 12 years old. 25 years ago. and she's STILL beautiful.

  • @Glowb0t Like I'm a lesbian but it doesn't look like she has good tasting piss.

  • @SweetJaneofGoth I didn't know that lesbianism automatically includes a urine fetish.

  • @SweetJaneofGoth who says things like this?

  • @elleemann Like who has a name like Elle Mann? My GF Babsy thinks you should change it to ellevanilla. That sounds tatsy.

  • @SweetJaneofGoth Nice name drop. Too bad it's different from the name you posted first (Maggs).

  • @Sykoze Like hello? Maggs is my LGF and Babsy is another GF but not my LGF. Babsy has an LGF and someday we will have a group lesbian gangbang cuz we all plan on getting pregnant one day to have babies.

  • @Glowb0t I have a crush the whole band....when martin joined I got a bigger crush...he's so cute!

  • @Glowb0t Agree to U 100% :)

    I had and still have...

  • @Glowb0t you are so fu in right!

  • @Glowb0t I don't have a crush on her. Probably the lexapro killing my sex drive though. Happy pills wooo!

  • I wonder where the hell music went worng... this era was amazing!!!

  • I wonder if Gaga has been inspired by the Banshees

  • That Brit whats her name ? Last name Spears ? Yah, Brit Spears net Worth 155 mil & Siouxsie who is priceless, probably less than 15 mil. What is wrong with society ?

  • what is happening at 1:57?

  • Saw them once in Rotterdam at de doelen 5 songs at a festival called Pandoras Box. Never seen a clash at that .

  • @dudecicero amen

  • @SuperNovaBlast100 and @Vagsmasher15, don't despare youngsters, there IS hope, check out the newcomers Anna calvi, Zola Jesus and Claire McGuire...

  • One of the great femme fatale vocalists, fer sure.Love

  • She gives me eargasms!!! :P

  • I don't believe in vampires. But if they'd exist, they'd be them.

  • Oh god how I love Siouxsie, The Banshees are one of my favorite bands ever. I fucking hate my generations crap music it's just so stupid. I can't believe one hell of alot people my age actually listen to that plastic no-talent shit. I wish I was a teenager in the 80's so I could see The Banshees play and other great bands :/ If someone has a working timemachine feel free to contact me.

  • @SmoookeMyBooones

I completely agree with everything you wrote! I'm 15 and our generation of music is complete shit! The 80's was, without a doubt, the best decade of music. I too wish I could've seen Siouxsie live back then. Let's build a time machine together, hehe.

Siouxsie & The Banshees are my favourite band. Check out my channel.

  • @Mr13595Stephen

With you guys theres hope for the human race yet

  • @SmoookeMyBooones i lived in england from 1993 to 1999 and saw her in Camden around the early '90's...she was amazing...so was the crowd! i finally felt like i had found my 'home' it was brilliant!

  • @SmoookeMyBooones relax, not all was gold in the 80ies, there was lots of crap too...think of Sabrina, and Bros ans oh my god Samantha Fox!!! ( or was that the early 90-ies, i don't really remember...)

  • I wish I grew up in this era... with real music like this. I grew up with Shania Twain, Britney Spears, and N*Sync. Such a shame.

  • @VagSmasher15 Your kidding me, I have to be growing up in the era of Justin bieber and Miley Cyrus. :(

  • @VagSmasher15 My sister saved me from that tradgedy. I may have been born in '86 but thanks to her being a teenager by then already I had constant streams of Siouxsie, The Cure & RATM blaring, and even Nirvana, Sound Garden & Pearl Jam as I got older. I thank her every day for giving me excellent taste in music :)

  • This is from a time were music was MUSIC. not just the same 4 notes over and over, and the same 2 lines over and over about how pretty ur f**ing girlfriend is. But when they die, siouxsie, bowie, madness.... will their music die? I hope not. I love this stuff and I wish more people listened to it...

  • @ErnieBlackle i don't think the music will die, but it will never happen again. : (

  • Que concierto en el Auditorio Nacional, Mexico DF aun recuerdo la llegada aquella noche magica... mles que le gusta esta Musica, buenos recuerdos con la banda,

    Noche fenomenal

  • Terry Halls Terry Blair And Anouchka single Ultra Modern Nursery Rhymes is back up!

  • Sad story

  • they look pretty messed up in this video. I think they went vegetarian around this time! ;-)

  • 80's RuleZ, i'm 15 years old and i LOVE <3 the old songs.

  • Saw the Tinderbox tour & still have the tour poster (26 yrs ago). She is a very talented & sexy woman. Its amazing how the blonde goofballs like B. Spears have attained more fame than Sexy Siouxsie ???

  • @LordGandor3 I totally agree

  • This song rocks and sounds like pure ecxtasy!

  • Great song but John Keine (was that his name, I'm remembering pretty far back here) was a gash guitarist. This album would have been amazing with Robert Smith or one of the two Johns on it.

  • Lady Gaga has nothing on Siouxsie Sioux. Siouxsie is an artistic and sexually poetic Goddes. Lady Gaga is just a glamed up, drag queen-esque, diva-clown.

  • @Jakegothicsnake Damn RIGHT!

  • Im not French but JADORE MONUFIQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ

    WHAT A BANGING CLASSIC :)

Lmao THUMBS UP IF U AGREE :D

  • l'adoro!

  • This woman is soooooo gorgeous.....sooooo talented.....

  • Great tune but kindda boppy!

  • Siouxsie and the Banshees is one of those bands I always heard about when I was a kid, but never really got around to actually hunting down and listening to...

Then I started hearing their songs through Rock Band, and am now kicking myself for not looking into them 15 years ago. I love 'em! :)

  • THE BEST FRONT WOMAN, LOVE ALL THE WORK,THEY SHOULD BE IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

  • I really wish there was more music like this. I find it soooo amazing that people are so unique and gifted =)

  • marvelous...made me realize I'm not alone....

  • with dedication to Louise brooks, love souxsie xxxx great video!

  • i LOved them since i was 12 :)

  • Man, she was such a great frontman. Maybe the best. Watching her can be mesmerizing, yet she still delivered the vocals.

  • @jaht3z frontwoman, my dear, frontwoman

  • @minaroar I used 'frontman' deliberately, because by using that term it places her in the appropriate milieu I was looking for - the great front men. I wanted to emphasize her position alongside Jagger, Tyler, Cooper, Manson, and her own protege - Robert Smith, and then dare suggest she is easily their equal, and perhaps the best of the lot.

Using 'great front woman' would have negated that inference, IMO.

  • @jaht3z uh - huh

  • Takes me back to my HUGE crush on her as a teenager. Hell, I'd marry her now if I could! She's only what, 15 or so years older than me? Guess we won't have any kids!

  • one word: timeless!! I'm 38 now and discovered Siouxie at 16 and this song still rocks!!

  • @jenbrownjenbrown im 15 and just disovery them, there incredible.

  • @SuperNovaBlast100 i was 12 when i discovered them, last year xD

  • @SuperNovaBlast100 no one gives a flying fuck about your age in the slightest.

why did kids think its cool to say gay shit like "derrr im 12 and i like a band thats not really popularrrr!!!1!!1

i swear its one of the most annoying trends on youtube

  • @SuperNovaBlast100 And yet to discover how to spell too, it seems.

  • @SuperNovaBlast100 classic timeless music never goes out of style. enjoy. from my generation to yours

  • This music will always live on. I first heard of Siouxsie on Gothic.net, and I checked out of curiosity. I'm so glad I did. =D

  • wow there can be no comparison between siouxsie and LG. Siouxsie is talented unique and her voice sounds like no one else you know who she is the minute you hear her voice unlike this cookie cutter music now

  • @WilliamG1970 Somebody once made the point that Siouxsie never used her body/sex appeal to sell records - it was all about the music. You can't say that about Lardy Gaggle.

  • @lewisner hahahaha wtf lardy gaggle

  • peepshow was one of my favorties after boomerang every song on that album had depth last dark album she did before she got a "makeover" and got kinda superficial sioxsee definatly has a beautiful unique voice and look that cant be easily matched.the sad reality is that sometimes good artists have to conform to todays trash in order to stay alive in the music industry

  • I miss Siouxsie and the Banshees. Better than today's trashy garbage people call music. She was funny, creative, imaginative, beautfiul. I loved her look. Her eyebrows were neat looking, her dark hair. Is there anyone here who has met her and talked with her? I would like to know how that turned out? She is amazing.

  • Love this song! Siouxsie is amazing!..... Thinking about getting a tattoo "Needles and Sins Sins and Needles" maybe in a circle ^_^

  • Lady Gaga Is so stupid. I honestly hate her. She seems so fake and unoriginal. She's nothing compared to Siouxie. But that's my own personal opinion lol

  • @adamrossg21 No, That's not your personal opinion, it's an objective fact, Lady Gaga just fucking sucks camel dick, trying to be distinctive and shit but keeps making the dance shit that the majority likes. People compare her to David Bowie, fuck that, David Bowie's songs are of depth and artistic value while Lady Gaga's stuffs are a bunch of talentless dance bullshit.

  • @jeffrman777 serious? it's a different style you obvert defense of this style only makes evident your own insecurities not lady caca's suckage

  • Lady Gaga is wonderful in her own right, but NO comparison to Siouxie!!!!!!!!!! Not even close, LG can only hope..................

  • CODEX MITFORD

  • God how I miss this talent... Scary, today Hot Topic is the best our industry can dish out to relate to our introverts... I feel old, but privileged.

  • @mjloy76 Nowadays even Hot Topic can't do that job....luckily I've found better websites with merchandise more suited to my disered tastes on the internet. ^_^

    Like Kambriel for example....

  • how do some people dare to compare lady gaga to siouxsie? unbelievable

  • @scrumblednuts Don't start me about Lady Gaga. I love Siouxsie and the Banshees. I would not go there about LG. Siouxsie just is a great singer. Did she ever do acting? I swear, but can't be accurate but I saw a film with a Siouxsie Look a like that was British.

  • Whoah, Budgie looks like Lucius Malfoy in this video....0.o

  • @Jakegothicsnake LOL thats funny...as for those comparing Siousxie to that media spawned manufactured whore LG...get a fucking life! Siouxsie was the REAL thing!

  • @floridacaster Amen!

  • Today May 27th is Siouxsie's birthday! Happy Birthday Siouxsie!

  • i like so much the direction of this video!!

  • RIP RJB

  • one of my favorite songs

  • how do you call that instrument that sings high? its very cool :D

  • lady gaga is good but siouxisie is great

  • lady gaga is good but siouxsie is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • I bet that Siouxsie had more talent that the lady gaga, i hate the sitthy music of today, (im 16) :)

  • @AxelZaore Of course she's more talented than Lady Gaga. The only reason Lady Gaga is so popular instead of Siouxsie is because the majority of America has very few good senses of taste.....Yes Siouxsie and Gaga are flamboyant, buy Siouxsie had a better fashion sense, Lady Gaga just looks like a slut from outer space....

  • Great Susie, I miss her

  • The term "gothic" was used by Tony Wilson on a debate why a Joy Division single wasn't played on Radio 1, the comment was "just because it is sinister and slightly gothic"

I was a goth in the mid eighties and it was fun

  • If i hadnt asked the friend for the meaning i never would have gotten it, youre not alone.

  • I do that with my hands everyday when i wake up.
