I fucking loved the second season im on the last 2 ep's now and so far its one of the best second season i ever saw it IS however crual and unusual which is 1 of the reason why i can understand most of the people but to out right and say u hate it....u shame ur anime loving pride go watch YU YU hakusho (best anime ever) and get it back
@1000Lava I agree that the second season was good, the voice acting tho seems off for some reason in places, but otherwise it was a great season. Hopefully they will release a third season of Gunslinger Girl.

Gunsinger girl is the best anime I have ever seen in my life, for those wondering about season 2, English dub is realeasing in 2009, and i know a website that has english subtitles, so just msg me and i'll be glad to give you the link ^_^

For visuals, yes. But, the second season features an ongoing plot while season 1 was just a character focus on each of the fratello relationships. Heck, we never learned how Triela or the Croce brothers wind up with the SWA.
The ending is better than the opening in my opinion! And I'm getting really excited over season 2!! I know they changed the art up a little, but it's not that bad... Yay for Gunslinger Girl!!

the episode about Hillshires past with that girl and the snuff videos, the ending touched me really hard, i almost cried.
