Their are some things that jail breaking takes away like if you load a movie onto your iPhone or iPod touch and play it though your tv with the cables it won't let you it's is a compromise you have to live with

So jailbreak your iPhone and get half what stock android can do. You still get the same old bank of icons. But you get wireless tethering and some sort of notification bar.

But if you root an android phone you can change ANYTHING. Apps for rooted devices are in the app store, no need for an alternate market.

@turtleownage Hey yeah i def recommend it to do it bc u get a lot of free apps u couldnt get in the app store. U can basically customize ANYTHING and no worries if u might not like it you can always reset ur phone in itunes. It's super easy and def worth it in my opinion!

@Bombfreshner13 Unlocking is when you change the way that your iPhone uses the cell network so that you can use another carrier like T-Mobile. You do have to have a jailbroken iPhone. I'm not sure of the exact steps, but you can google how to unlock it.

@Bombfreshner13 nothing will happen, it's completely safe, worst that could happen is that you fuck up the jailbreak and brick your iphone, then you would just have to do a restore, no permanent damage but make sure you backup your contacts,pics,sms's etc if your that paranoid

@ON3industries ye, it deletes the jailbreak, because you are restoring to an original firmware file. You can reverse the jailbreak by just going to itunes and restoring the iphone bac to it's original state, very easy process. Hope you jb your iphone :) Im getting my iPhone 4 today!! I had a 3g once but only for 2 days cuz I broke it :(

And another cool one Is called bigify I'm not going to tell you what they do cause it will be a lot long but go check them out there all in cydia
