I have right sided hemi plegea: aged 27. I do not see the fascination for this treatment and trying to convert someone into a, 'normal' aspect. We adapt and by nature were not born with the capability to be ambidextrous. Why for the sake of the society should the disability be cleansed and decapitated onto the same list of the Dodo. It seems like humans experimenting on children instead of vulnerable animals.
Just found this while watching another video of someone who is right hemiplegic. Piper reminds me so much of our own daughter who is 8 and RH. She also had CIT last summer. Thanks for posting! What a cool video!
Thank you so much for posting this video, it was so inspirational to me because I have a daughter who has right side hemiplegia. She is only 18 months old, and I don't know what the road ahead looks like for her. Your video game me so much hope, I am so happy to see that Piper is doing so great! These little girls are amazing! God bless!
So glad to see Piper is doing so GREAT! is amazing what CIT can do. Hi we were ask by our orthopediatrician to do the CIT on my son ( he has left side Hemiplegia) but the ocupational therapist didn't like the idea of doing it, now my son is 7 and my wife says it will affect the outcome at school, he may get frustrated, etc., he had left aquiles tendon lenghtening last year and his ortho wants to do his left hand next year (something to do with the tendons to make his hand flex and grip better.
